Prices read on 28 September 2026. Six travel eSIMs sell a plan that works in the Seychelles and get most of the traffic for this search. We priced all six on the same day, for a week on Mahé, two weeks hopping to Praslin and La Digue, and a month, and read the fine print on unlimited. The Seychelles is an expensive country for data, and this page says plainly where a rival is the better buy.

Ubigi: Cheapest month, on its global plan. Best World, 60 GB at full speed for 30 days at $108, then 2 Mbps. It is a global plan, not a Seychelles one. Its Seychelles buckets start at 10 GB for $35.

Most trips to the Seychelles run ten days to two weeks: a few nights on Mahé, the ferry to Praslin, a day or two on La Digue by bike. For about two weeks of unlimited, Holafly asks $63.50 for 15 days, Ubigi $77 for 30 GB at full speed on its Best World global plan, and Airalo $96 on its Discover global plan. Ringo Light charges $58.99 for 2 weeks, one payment, nothing renews. Saily and Nomad sell no Seychelles unlimited at all.

The Seychelles has two mobile networks, Airtel and Cable & Wireless. Both cover the three islands most visitors see, Mahé, Praslin and La Digue, with 4G in the towns, the hotels and most beaches. Airalo, Holafly and Nomad all ride Airtel; Saily and Ubigi do not name a network on their listings.

What to do in the Seychelles, and what your phone needs for it. Eight places most first trips include, on Mahé, Praslin, La Digue and Curieuse, with the one thing your data does for you at each. The towns, jetties and main beaches have good 4G; the mountain trails and the small islands often do not.
Victoria and the Clock Tower, Victoria, Mahé. One of the smallest capitals in the world, built round a silver clock tower. Walk to the Sir Selwyn Selwyn-Clarke Market for fish, fruit and spices, busiest on Saturday morning. Shops take cards, but market stalls prefer cash in rupees. A currency app keeps the sums straight.
Beau Vallon, Northwest Mahé. The long beach of Mahé, with hotels, dive shops and boats out to the reefs. On Wednesday evenings the Bazar Labrin street market fills the road behind it. Ride-hailing apps do not run here. Save a taxi number, or look up the bus from Victoria in your maps app.
Morne Seychellois National Park, Central Mahé. Rainforest over the island's highest peak, with trails such as Copolia and Morne Blanc that end at views of both coasts. Start early, before the clouds settle on the tops. Signal fades on the trails. Download the park in your maps app and tell someone your route.
Anse Intendance, South Mahé. A wide, wild beach at the end of a small road, with strong waves and currents when the southeast trade winds blow, from May to October. Check a surf forecast before you swim. Traffic drives on the left, and a maps app shows the narrow roads south.
Vallée de Mai, Praslin. A UNESCO World Heritage palm forest, home of the coco de mer and the rare black parrot. The marked trails take one to three hours. A bird app helps you pick out the black parrot's whistle among the palms.
Anse Lazio, Northwest Praslin. Pale sand and granite boulders at the tip of Praslin, with clear water for snorkelling at either end. Come for the afternoon and stay for the sunset. Plan the day round the ferry back: a maps app gives the drive time to the jetty at Baie Sainte Anne.
Anse Source d'Argent, La Digue. Pink granite boulders over a shallow lagoon, reached through the old L'Union Estate plantation. Go early, before the day trips from Praslin arrive. Look up the tide times: at high tide there is little sand left, and La Digue is best crossed by bike with an offline map.
Curieuse Island, Off Praslin. A small island of red earth and granite, home to free-roaming giant tortoises, with a walk through the mangroves to Anse Saint José. Reached on a boat trip from Praslin. Save your boat booking and return time offline: signal on the water and on the island comes and goes.
