The prices, charted
US dollars, 28 September 2026. Ringo Light sells 2 weeks, Airalo 15 days. Nomad sells no Uzbekistan unlimited, so it has no bar. Airalo is 3 GB a day at full speed, then 1 Mbps; Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed.
Nomad sells no unlimited, so it has no bar. Airalo has no Uzbekistan 30-day plan, so its bar is its Discover global plan, 3 GB a day. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed.
Ringo Light sells no bucket: its 2 weeks is unlimited and lasts 2 weeks, not 30 days. For a fixed 10 GB that lasts a month, Nomad is cheaper than Airalo, and our 2 weeks is a cent less than Nomad but a different product.

Airalo vs Nomad in one paragraph
Nomad is cheaper than Airalo for a fixed bucket in Uzbekistan: 10 GB for 30 days at $18 against $21, and 20 GB at $29 against $33. Nomad also sells 50 GB for 30 days at $39, and small buckets, 3 GB at $7 and 5 GB at $11, on Uzmobile. What Nomad does not sell is unlimited. Airalo does: 3 days at $12.50, a week at $27.50 and 15 days at $49, 3 GB a day at full speed then 1 Mbps, on Unitel, the company behind Beeline, with buckets from $4 for 1 GB as well. Pick Nomad if you know roughly how much data you need and want it to last a month. Pick Airalo if you want unlimited days from one of these two. If the trip is two weeks or a month and you want unlimited, Ringo Light sells 2 weeks at $17.99 and 30 days at $35.99, unlimited data at full speed.
Price: the same trip at each
Priced on 28 September 2026, in US dollars. For a bucket that lasts 30 days, Nomad asks $18 for 10 GB and Airalo $21; Nomad asks $29 for 20 GB and Airalo $33. For unlimited there is only one price to read, because Nomad sells none: Airalo asks $12.50 for 3 days, $27.50 for a week and $49 for 15 days, and sells no Uzbekistan month. Its Discover global plan for 30 days is $159, which is not an Uzbekistan plan.
Ringo Light sells two trips for Uzbekistan: 2 weeks at $17.99 and 30 days at $35.99. The 2 weeks costs less than Airalo's 7 days at $27.50 and far less than its 15 days at $49, with unlimited data at full speed. Ringo Light sells no buckets. Its 2 weeks at $17.99 is a cent under Nomad's 10 GB at $18, but a Nomad bucket lasts 30 days where our 2 weeks lasts 2 weeks, so we do not call it a like for like win. If you want 10 GB spread over a month, Nomad at $18 is the better buy than our 30 days at $35.99, and for 3 GB at $7 or 5 GB at $11 Nomad is far cheaper than anything we sell. We would rather you read that here than at checkout.
What unlimited means at each
Nomad sells no unlimited plan for Uzbekistan, so the question is only Airalo's. Its unlimited gives 3 GB a day at full speed, then slows to 1 Mbps. That is enough for maps, messages and an hour or two of video; a long evening of streaming in HD will hit it. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 2 weeks or 30 days. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in Uzbekistan
Uzbekistan has several mobile networks: Beeline, run by Unitel, Ucell, Mobiuz, the state operator Uzmobile, and the smaller Perfectum. The big ones cover Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva and the Fergana Valley towns well. Between Bukhara and Khiva the road and railway cross the Kyzylkum desert, and the signal drops out for long stretches there, as it does in the mountains above Charvak. Save offline maps before those legs.
Airalo rides Unitel, the company behind Beeline. Nomad rides Uzmobile, the state operator. Ringo Light rides a local partner network. Uzbekistan is far from the European Union, so a European phone plan roams here at full price. Check yours before you land.
Installation, app and support
Airalo needs its app: you buy, install and top up inside it, and that is also where its support chat lives. Nomad's app is optional. Ringo Light needs no app; the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, and support is by email. Whichever you pick, install it at home before you fly and switch it on for data when you land at Tashkent.
The cheaper third option: Ringo Light
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM, sold to fund the full Ringo, one plan that works everywhere with your own number ported onto it. For Uzbekistan it sells two trips, both unlimited data at full speed: 2 weeks at $17.99 and 30 days at $35.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.
What it does not do: no buckets, no 3-day or 7-day plan, no phone number, data only. Calls go over apps that use data. If you want 10 GB or 20 GB to last a month, Nomad at $18 or $29 is the better buy. If you want 3 days, Airalo at $12.50 is cheaper than anything we sell. For two weeks or a month of unlimited, Ringo Light is the cheapest of the three, and our 2 weeks at $17.99 costs less than Airalo's 7 days.
