One payment, US dollars, 28 September 2026. Holafly sells 15 days for the Bahamas. Airalo and Ubigi sell unlimited only on their Caribbean regional plans; Ubigi's 15 days is 30 GB at full speed, then 2 Mbps. Saily and Nomad sell no unlimited here.

4 · What to do in the Bahamas, and what your phone needs for it
Eight places most first trips include, from the cruise port in Nassau to Exuma, Eleuthera, Grand Bahama and Long Island, with the one thing your data does for you at each. Signal is good in Nassau and Freeport and thinner on the small cays and the water between them.
5 · If you want unlimited for two weeks or a month: Ringo Light
A stay in the Bahamas is often a week on Paradise Island or two weeks hopping to Exuma and Eleuthera. For about two weeks of unlimited, Holafly asks $68.90 for 15 days. Airalo and Ubigi sell no unlimited plan for the Bahamas alone: their Caribbean regional plans ask $99 and $75 for 15 days, Ubigi's for 30 GB at full speed. For a month, Holafly asks $111.90 and Airalo $160. Saily and Nomad sell no unlimited here at all. Ringo Light charges $44.99 for 2 weeks and $86.99 for 30 days, one payment each, nothing renews.
Read what unlimited means before you pick. Airalo gives 3 GB a day at full speed, then 1 Mbps. Ubigi gives 20 GB for 7 days or 30 GB for 15 days, then 2 Mbps. Holafly states no daily cap for your own phone and limits sharing to 1 GB a day. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for 2 weeks or 30 days.
For a short trip, Ringo Light sells no 3-day or 7-day plan. Airalo sells 3 days of unlimited at $19.50 on Island Hopper and Holafly at $19.90. For a week, Holafly at $36.50 is the cheapest unlimited, $8.49 under our 2 weeks.
6 · BTC, Aliv, the Out Islands and the ship at sea
The Bahamas has two mobile networks, BTC and Aliv. Airalo's Bahamas plans and Nomad ride BTC; Holafly, Ubigi and Airalo's Island Hopper ride Aliv. Saily does not name its network. Both cover Nassau, Paradise Island and Freeport well. On the Out Islands, the small cays and the boats between them, coverage gets thinner, as Holafly's own page says.
On a cruise, the port matters more than the plan. When the ship is at sea your phone may join the ship's own mobile network, which no Bahamas eSIM covers and which your home carrier can bill at its own sea rates. Turn off data roaming on your home line before you sail, use the ship's Wi-Fi at sea, and switch the eSIM on once you are alongside in Nassau or Freeport.
7 · If you want a data bucket or a cruise day: Nomad, Ubigi or Airalo
- Airalo or Ubigi, $7 for 1 GB. Seven days each, Airalo on BTC and Ubigi on Aliv. Enough for maps, messages and the all-aboard time on a day in Nassau. Saily's 1 GB is $8.99 and Nomad's $9.
- Nomad or Ubigi, $34 for 10 GB. Thirty days each. Nomad also sells 20 GB for $49 on BTC; Ubigi sells 10 GB for 7 days at $28.
- Airalo, $38.50 for 10 GB with minutes and texts. Its Jitney Mobile plus plan is cheaper than its data-only one: 20 GB with minutes and texts is $46.50, against $76.50 for data only.
- Saily, $8.99 for 1 GB. Its Bahamas plans stop at 3 GB for $19.99; 10 GB comes only on its Caribbean plan at $46.99. Its listing is from May; saily.com would not load for us.
