Holafly vs Saily in one paragraph
Saily is cheaper than Holafly at every length both sell: $0.51 on the week, $3.51 on 15 days and $12.91 on the month. Holafly gives you the simpler product: unlimited days with no stated daily cap, installed from a QR code with no app, on Airtel and Jio, and a 3-day plan at $19.90 that Saily does not sell; Saily's shortest unlimited is 5 days at $27.99. Saily gives you more choice, buckets of 10 GB at $23.99 and 20 GB at $38.99 as well as unlimited, but its unlimited slows to 1 Mbps after 3 GB a day, you need its app, and it does not name its network. Pick Saily for a bucket or the lower price. Pick Holafly if you stream all evening and never want to think about a daily cap. If the trip is two weeks or a month and you want unlimited, neither is the cheapest: Ringo Light sells 2 weeks at $21.99 and 30 days at $36.99, unlimited data at full speed.
Price: the same trip at each
Priced on 25 October 2026, in US dollars. For 3 days of unlimited, Holafly asks $19.90 and Saily sells no 3-day plan. For a week, $39.50 at Holafly and $38.99 at Saily. For 15 days, $63.50 at Holafly and $59.99 at Saily. For 30 days, $111.90 at Holafly and $98.99 at Saily. Saily wins every row they share, and the gap grows with the length.
Ringo Light sells two trips for India: 2 weeks at $21.99 and 30 days at $36.99. The 2 weeks costs $41.51 less than Holafly's 15 days and $38.00 less than Saily's. It also costs $17.51 less than Holafly's 7 days and $17.00 less than Saily's. The 30 days costs $74.91 less than Holafly's $111.90 and $62.00 less than Saily's $98.99. Ringo Light sells no 3-day plan: our 2 weeks costs $2.09 more than Holafly's 3 days at $19.90.
For a fixed amount of data, Saily is the only one of the three that sells it: 10 GB for 30 days at $23.99, 20 GB at $38.99. Holafly sells no buckets. Ringo Light sells no buckets either. Ubigi's 10 GB at $15 and Nomad's at $21 are under Saily, in the full comparison at /blog/best-esim-for-india.
What unlimited means at each
Saily's unlimited for India gives 3 GB a day at full speed, then slows to 1 Mbps for the rest of the day. That is enough for maps, messages and an hour or two of video; a long evening of streaming in HD will hit it. Holafly states no daily cap for your own phone and limits hotspot sharing to 1 GB a day. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 2 weeks or 30 days. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in India
India has four mobile networks: Jio, Airtel, Vi and the state-run BSNL. Jio and Airtel are the two largest and run 5G in the big cities. Holafly is the one brand here that names both Jio and Airtel. Saily does not name its network on its listing. Ringo Light rides a local partner network. For Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Mumbai and Goa, all of them work. In the hills and on the Kerala backwaters, coverage thins on every network.
A travel eSIM also skips India's SIM paperwork. A local SIM means showing your passport and visa at a counter and waiting for it to be activated. An eSIM bought before you fly is installed at home and works when you land.
Installation, app and support
Saily needs its app: you buy, install and top up inside it. Holafly needs no app; it sends a QR code you scan in your phone's settings. Ringo Light needs no app either; the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, and support is by email. Whichever you pick, install it at home before you fly.
The cheaper third option: Ringo Light
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM, sold to fund the full Ringo, one plan that works everywhere with your own number ported onto it. For India it sells two trips, both unlimited data at full speed: 2 weeks at $21.99 and 30 days at $36.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.
What it does not do: no buckets, no 3-day or 7-day plan, no phone number, data only. Calls go over apps that use data. If you want 10 GB or 20 GB, Saily is the only one of the three that sells it. If you want 3 days, Holafly at $19.90 is cheaper than anything we sell. For two weeks or a month of unlimited, Ringo Light is the cheapest of the three.
