1 · The short answer
Most trips to India start in Delhi, often on the Golden Triangle to Agra and Jaipur, and every travel eSIM sells it as part of its India plan. We priced the six that get most of the traffic on the same day, for a few days in Delhi, a week on the Triangle and two weeks further on, and looked at what your phone does between the airport metro, the ride apps and the monuments.
Unlimited data at full speed for 2 weeks at $21.99, less than Airalo or Holafly charge for a week. 30 days at $36.99. Nothing renews.
5 days of unlimited at $18 on Airtel, $3.99 under our 2 weeks, 2 GB a day at full speed. 10 days at $33.
10 GB for 30 days at $15 on Jio. Ringo Light sells no buckets.
Days, not gigabytes, on India's two largest networks. $39.50 for a week; sharing limited to 1 GB a day.
Prices read on 28 September 2026: Airalo, Holafly, Saily, Nomad, Ubigi, SIM rules for tourists on their own sites or listings, Ringo Light from its catalogue. All in US dollars unless stated. Treat every number as a snapshot.

2 · The prices, charted
US dollars, 28 September 2026. Ringo Light sells 2 weeks, the others 15 days. Nomad stops at 10 days. Ubigi's 15 days is 30 GB at full speed, then 2 Mbps.
The 30-day plan at each brand. Ubigi's month is 60 GB at full speed, then 2 Mbps. Nomad sells no month of unlimited.
Holafly sells no buckets. Ringo Light sells no bucket either: its 2 weeks is unlimited and lasts 2 weeks, not 30 days.

4 · What to do in Delhi, and what your phone does for you there
Six places for a first trip to Delhi, from Mughal forts to the modern capital. The city has strong 4G and 5G.
5 · Getting online at Indira Gandhi International
Flights to Delhi land at Indira Gandhi International, southwest of the centre, with 4G and 5G at the gate. Install your eSIM at home, leave it switched off, and turn it on for data when you land. A travel eSIM also skips the paperwork of a local SIM, which needs your passport and visa at a counter and some time to activate.
The Airport Express metro line runs from Terminal 3 to New Delhi station in about twenty minutes. Uber and Ola wait at marked pickup zones, and the app tells you which pillar to stand at.
6 · Delhi and the Golden Triangle on your phone
Jio and Airtel, the two largest networks, run 5G across Delhi, and the metro has coverage in stations and tunnels. Old Delhi's lanes around Chandni Chowk are crowded but covered. Monuments run by the Archaeological Survey of India sell e-tickets online with a QR code, often cheaper than at the window.
Trains to Agra take under two hours on the fastest services, and the road to Jaipur has signal most of the way. Book trains as early as you can; the popular ones sell out.
7 · Which plan fits a Delhi trip
Three to five days in Delhi: Nomad sells 5 days of unlimited at $18. Holafly charges $19.90 and Airalo $20.50 for 3 days, a little under Ringo Light's 2 weeks at $21.99.
A week on the Golden Triangle: Airalo and Holafly ask $39.50, Ubigi $24 for 25 GB then 2 Mbps, Nomad $33 for 10 days. Ringo Light 2 weeks of unlimited data at full speed costs $21.99.
Two weeks or more, with Varanasi, Rajasthan or Goa: Ubigi $46, Saily $59.99, Airalo $62 and Holafly $63.50 for 15 days, against Ringo Light 2 weeks at $21.99. A month: $36.99.
8 · What Ringo Light is

The eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, no app.
For a fixed amount of data, Ubigi's 10 GB for 30 days at $15 is cheaper than our 2 weeks. The card to buy Ringo Light is further up this page, just after the side-by-side table.

11 · How we compared, and our sources
We priced Airalo, Holafly, Saily, Nomad, Ubigi and Ringo Light for Delhi on 28 September 2026, all on the same day, in US dollars. Each rival's price comes from its own website where it showed dollars, otherwise from an esimdb.com listing, and every source and its date is listed below. Ringo Light's prices come from the catalogue our checkout charges.
We compare the trips people actually book: a week, two weeks and a month of unlimited data, and a 10 GB bucket. We read each brand's fair use and speed rules and quote them as the brands state them. We did not run speed tests, so this page makes no speed claims for any brand.
Ringo Light is our own product. We put it in the table on the same terms as everyone else, and where a rival is the better buy the page says so.
Left out: Maya Mobile. We could not read its own prices for this country on the day, so it stays out rather than being guessed.
