Airalo vs Nomad in one paragraph
Airalo is cheaper than Nomad for Pakistan on every plan the two share, and sells the plans Nomad does not. For 10 GB for 30 days, Airalo asks $18 and Nomad $24, $6 less. For 20 GB, Airalo asks $28 and Nomad $39, $11 less. Nomad sells no unlimited for Pakistan, so for a week or more of unlimited the choice is not between these two. Airalo's unlimited is 3 days at $12.50, 7 days at $27, 15 days at $49 and 30 days at $72, with 3 GB a day at full speed, then 1 Mbps. Nomad's point is its network: it names Jazz, the largest in Pakistan, and its app is optional, where Airalo needs its app. Pick Airalo for the lower price, a bucket or unlimited. Pick Nomad if you want Jazz by name. If the trip is two weeks or a month and you want unlimited, the cheapest is Ringo Light: 2 weeks at $22.99 and 30 days at $35.99, unlimited data at full speed.
Price: the same trip at each
Priced on 25 October 2026, in US dollars. For 10 GB for 30 days, Airalo asks $18 and Nomad $24, so Airalo is $6 cheaper. For 20 GB, Airalo asks $28 and Nomad $39, $11 less. Airalo also sells buckets from $4 for 1 GB.
For unlimited, only Airalo sells it: 3 days at $12.50, 7 days at $27, 15 days at $49 and 30 days at $72. Nomad has no unlimited plan for Pakistan, so there is no unlimited price to compare.
Ringo Light sells two trips for Pakistan: 2 weeks at $22.99 and 30 days at $35.99. The 2 weeks costs $26.01 less than Airalo's 15 days at $49 and $4.01 less than Airalo's 7 days at $27. The 30 days costs $36.01 less than Airalo's $72. Ringo Light sells no 3-day plan: for a few days, Airalo at $12.50 is the cheaper buy. For a fixed amount of data, Airalo's 10 GB at $18 is $4.99 cheaper than our 2 weeks at $22.99, and Airalo's 20 GB at $28 is $7.99 cheaper than our 30 days at $35.99. Against Nomad, our 2 weeks at $22.99 costs $1.01 less than its 10 GB at $24, and our 30 days at $35.99 costs $3.01 less than its 20 GB at $39. We would rather you read that here than at checkout.
What unlimited means at each
Airalo's unlimited for Pakistan gives 3 GB a day at full speed, then slows to 1 Mbps. That is enough for maps, messages and an hour or two of video; a long evening of streaming will hit it. Nomad sells no unlimited for Pakistan, only buckets. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 2 weeks or 30 days, with no daily figure. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in Pakistan
Pakistan has four big networks: Jazz, the largest, Zong, Telenor and Ufone. All four cover Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and the motorways well, and Jazz and Zong have the widest 4G. Nomad names Jazz and Airalo names Zong and one other network. The north is different. Along the Karakoram Highway, on the jeep road to Fairy Meadows and in Deosai, signal comes and goes or stops, and Holafly says so on its own Pakistan page. Download offline maps of Gilgit-Baltistan before you leave Islamabad, whichever eSIM you buy. Mobile data is also sometimes suspended by the authorities in some cities on days of protest or major religious processions; when that happens it affects every network and every eSIM that rides them.
Installation, app and support
Airalo needs its app. Nomad's app is optional. Ringo Light needs no app; the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan from the QR code. Whichever you pick, install it at home on Wi-Fi before you fly and switch it on for data when you land in Karachi, Lahore or Islamabad.
The cheaper third option: Ringo Light
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM, sold to fund the full Ringo, one plan that works everywhere with your own number ported onto it. For Pakistan it sells two trips, both unlimited data at full speed: 2 weeks at $22.99 and 30 days at $35.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.
What it does not do: no buckets, no 3-day or 7-day plan, no phone number, data only. Calls go over apps that use data. If you want 10 GB or 20 GB for a month, Airalo at $18 and $28 is the better buy, and cheaper than Nomad. If you want 3 days, Airalo at $12.50 is cheaper than anything we sell. For two weeks or a month of unlimited, Ringo Light is the cheapest of the three.
