Airalo vs Holafly in one paragraph
Airalo is cheaper than Holafly for Pakistan at every length, by a dollar or less on the short plans and by about two dollars on the month. Holafly gives you the simpler product: unlimited days with no stated daily cap, installed from a QR code with no app, on Zong. Airalo gives you more choice, buckets from 1 GB up to 20 GB as well as unlimited, but its unlimited slows to 1 Mbps after 3 GB a day, and you need its app. Pick Airalo if you want a bucket or the lowest price of the two. Pick Holafly if you stream all evening and never want to think about a daily cap. If the trip is two weeks or a month and you want unlimited, neither is the cheapest: Ringo Light sells 2 weeks at $22.99 and 30 days at $35.99, unlimited data at full speed, less than half of what either asks for the same length.
Price: the same trip at each
Priced on 25 October 2026, in US dollars, from each brand's own site. For 3 days of unlimited, Airalo asks $12.50 and Holafly $13.50. For a week, $27 at Airalo and $27.90 at Holafly. For 15 days, $49 at Airalo and $50.50 at Holafly. For 30 days, $72 at Airalo and $73.90 at Holafly. Airalo wins every row of the two, by a dollar on 3 days, by under a dollar on the week, and by about two dollars on the longer plans.
Ringo Light sells two trips for Pakistan: 2 weeks at $22.99 and 30 days at $35.99. The 2 weeks costs less than half of Airalo's 15 days at $49 or Holafly's at $50.50, and less than either brand's one week. The 30 days costs less than half of Airalo's $72 and Holafly's $73.90. Ringo Light sells no 3-day plan and no 7-day plan: for 3 days, Airalo at $12.50 is the cheapest of the three, and for a week Ringo Light's 2 weeks at $22.99 is cheaper than Airalo's $27 or Holafly's $27.90, with a week of days left over.
For a fixed amount of data, Airalo is the only one of the three that sells it: 10 GB for 30 days at $18, 20 GB at $28, buckets from $4 for 1 GB. Holafly sells no buckets. Ringo Light sells no buckets either. If 10 GB is all you need, Airalo is cheaper than Ringo Light's $22.99, and its 20 GB at $28 is about $8 less than our 30 days. We would rather you read that here than at checkout.
What unlimited means at each
Airalo's unlimited for Pakistan, the Sheesh plan, gives 3 GB a day at full speed, then slows to 1 Mbps for the rest of the day. That is enough for maps, messages and an hour or two of video; a long evening of streaming in HD will hit it. Holafly states no daily cap for your own phone and limits hotspot sharing to 1 GB a day, so Holafly is the one to pick between the two if you share data to a laptop every day, but only up to that 1 GB. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 2 weeks or 30 days. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in Pakistan
Pakistan has four big networks: Jazz, the largest, Zong, Telenor and Ufone. All four cover Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and the motorways well, and Jazz and Zong have the widest 4G. Airalo's own page names Zong, with one other network. Holafly rides Zong (CMPak). Ringo Light rides a local partner network. For the cities and the motorways, any of the three works.
The north is different. Along the Karakoram Highway, on the jeep road to Fairy Meadows and in Deosai, signal comes and goes or stops, and Holafly says so on its own Pakistan page. Download offline maps of Gilgit-Baltistan before you leave Islamabad, whichever eSIM you buy. Mobile data is also sometimes suspended by the authorities in some cities on days of protest or major religious processions; when that happens it affects every network and every eSIM that rides them.
Installation, app and support
Airalo needs its app: you buy, install and top up inside it, and that is also where its support chat lives. Holafly needs no app; it sends a QR code you scan in your phone's settings, and support is by chat on its site. Ringo Light needs no app either; the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, and support is by email. Whichever you pick, install it at home before you fly and switch it on for data when you land in Karachi, Lahore or Islamabad. A travel eSIM connects as a foreign line in roaming, so there is nothing to register with the PTA.
The cheaper third option: Ringo Light
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM, sold to fund the full Ringo, one plan that works everywhere with your own number ported onto it. For Pakistan it sells two trips, both unlimited data at full speed: 2 weeks at $22.99 and 30 days at $35.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.
What it does not do: no buckets, no 3-day plan, no 7-day plan, no phone number, data only. Calls go over apps that use data. If you want 10 GB for a month, Airalo at $18 is the better buy, and its 20 GB at $28 beats our 30 days by about $8 if a fixed amount is enough. If you want 3 days, Airalo at $12.50 or Holafly at $13.50 is the only way to buy that length. For two weeks or a month of unlimited, Ringo Light is the cheapest of the three by a wide margin.

We compare the trips people actually book: a week, two weeks and a month of unlimited data, and a 10 GB bucket. We read each brand's fair use and speed rules and quote them as the brands state them. We did not run speed tests, so this page makes no speed claims for any brand.
Ringo Light is our own product. We put it in the table on the same terms as everyone else, and where a rival is the better buy the page says so.
Left out: Nomad and Ubigi. They sell Pakistan too and are priced on the same day in the full comparison at /blog/best-esim-for-pakistan, where Ubigi wins every data bucket. This page answers one question, Airalo or Holafly, so it keeps to those two and the cheaper third option. Left out: Saily.
