Holafly vs Nomad in one paragraph

Holafly and Nomad are not the same kind of eSIM in Pakistan, so there is no plan at which we can call one cheaper. Holafly sells only unlimited by the day: 3 days at $13.50, 7 days at $27.90, 15 days at $50.50 and 30 days at $73.90, with no stated daily cap, hotspot sharing limited to 1 GB a day, a QR code and no app, on Zong (CMPak). Nomad sells only buckets, 10 GB for 30 days at $24 and 20 GB at $39, on Jazz, the largest network, with an optional app. Pick Holafly if you want unlimited and no daily cap. Pick Nomad if you want a bucket on Jazz. If the trip is two weeks or a month and you want unlimited, the cheapest is Ringo Light: 2 weeks at $22.99 and 30 days at $35.99, unlimited data at full speed.

Price: the same trip at each

Priced on 25 October 2026, in US dollars. Holafly sells 3 days at $13.50, 7 days at $27.90, 15 days at $50.50 and 30 days at $73.90, all unlimited, and no buckets. Nomad sells 10 GB for 30 days at $24 and 20 GB at $39, and no unlimited plan. The two share no plan, so we do not call either one cheaper.

Ringo Light sells two trips for Pakistan: 2 weeks at $22.99 and 30 days at $35.99. The 2 weeks costs $27.51 less than Holafly's 15 days at $50.50 and $4.91 less than Holafly's 7 days at $27.90. The 30 days costs $37.91 less than Holafly's $73.90. Ringo Light sells no 3-day plan: for a few days, Holafly at $13.50 is the cheaper buy. Against Nomad, our 2 weeks at $22.99 costs $1.01 less than its 10 GB at $24, and our 30 days at $35.99 costs $3.01 less than its 20 GB at $39, though our trips are unlimited and last 2 weeks or 30 days, where its buckets last 30 days. We would rather you read that here than at checkout.

What unlimited means at each

Holafly states no daily cap for data on your own phone and limits hotspot sharing to 1 GB a day. Nomad sells no unlimited for Pakistan, only buckets. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 2 weeks or 30 days, with no daily figure. Fair use policy, see Terms.

Networks and coverage in Pakistan

Pakistan has four big networks: Jazz, the largest, Zong, Telenor and Ufone. All four cover Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and the motorways well, and Jazz and Zong have the widest 4G. Holafly names Zong (CMPak) and Nomad names Jazz. The north is different. Along the Karakoram Highway, on the jeep road to Fairy Meadows and in Deosai, signal comes and goes or stops, and Holafly says so on its own Pakistan page. Download offline maps of Gilgit-Baltistan before you leave Islamabad, whichever eSIM you buy. Mobile data is also sometimes suspended by the authorities in some cities on days of protest or major religious processions; when that happens it affects every network and every eSIM that rides them.

Installation, app and support

Holafly needs no app; it sends a QR code you scan in your phone's settings. Nomad's app is optional. Ringo Light needs no app; the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan from the QR code. Whichever you pick, install it at home on Wi-Fi before you fly and switch it on for data when you land in Karachi, Lahore or Islamabad.

The cheaper third option: Ringo Light

Ringo Light is our own data eSIM, sold to fund the full Ringo, one plan that works everywhere with your own number ported onto it. For Pakistan it sells two trips, both unlimited data at full speed: 2 weeks at $22.99 and 30 days at $35.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.

What it does not do: no buckets, no 3-day or 7-day plan, no phone number, data only. Calls go over apps that use data. If you want 10 GB or 20 GB on Jazz, Nomad is the one that sells it. If you want 3 days, Holafly at $13.50 is cheaper than anything we sell. For two weeks or a month of unlimited, Ringo Light is the cheapest of the three.

The full comparison for Pakistan, with Airalo, Saily and Ubigi priced the same day, is at /blog/best-esim-for-pakistan. The card to buy Ringo Light is further up this page, just after the side-by-side table.
