Price: the same trip at each

Priced on 28 September 2026, in US dollars; Saily's listing is from June. Holafly: $12.50 for 3 days, $27.90 for 7, $50.50 for 15, $95.90 for 30, all unlimited. Saily: 10 GB for 30 days at $27.99, 20 GB at $48.99. Holafly sells no buckets and Saily sells no Chile unlimited, so there is no like for like price. We leave that comparison out rather than call either brand cheaper.

Saily's Global plan is listed at $59.99 for 30 days. It is a Global plan, not a Chile plan, so it stays out of the bars. Holafly's 30 days of unlimited is $95.90.

Ringo Light sells two trips for Chile: 2 weeks at $44.99 and 30 days at $63.99. The 2 weeks costs $5.51 less than Holafly's 15 days, and the 30 days costs $31.91 less than Holafly's month. Ringo Light sells no 3-day or 7-day plan. For a fixed amount of data, Saily's 10 GB at $27.99 is cheaper than our $44.99, and it lasts 30 days, not 2 weeks. Holafly sells no buckets, and neither do we.

What unlimited means at each

Holafly states no daily cap for your own phone in Chile and limits hotspot sharing to 1 GB a day. It sells days, not gigabytes. Saily sells no unlimited plan for Chile. Its only unlimited is the Global plan, listed at $59.99 for 30 days in June, which is a Global plan and not a Chile plan. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 2 weeks or 30 days. Fair use policy, see Terms.

Networks and coverage in Chile

Chile has four national networks: Entel, Movistar, Claro and WOM. All four cover Santiago, Valparaiso and the towns of the central valley. Coverage thins on the desert roads of the Atacama, on the Carretera Austral and inside the Patagonian parks, whichever network you are on; on the trails of Torres del Paine there is almost none. For the cities any of them works; for the far north and the far south, download offline maps before you leave town.

Holafly rides Movistar. Saily does not name its network on its listing. Ringo Light rides a local partner network.

Installation, app and support

Holafly's app is used for the data balance. Saily needs its app. Ringo Light needs no app; the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan. Install it at home on Wi-Fi before you fly and switch it on for data when you land in Santiago.

The cheaper third option: Ringo Light

Ringo Light is our own data eSIM, sold to fund the full Ringo, one plan that works everywhere with your own number ported onto it. For Chile it sells two trips, both unlimited data at full speed: 2 weeks at $44.99 and 30 days at $63.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.

What it does not do: no buckets, no 3-day or 7-day plan, no phone number, data only. Calls go over apps that use data. If you want 10 GB for a month, Saily at $27.99 is the better buy. If you want 3 or 7 days, Holafly is cheaper than anything we sell. For two weeks or a month of unlimited, Ringo Light is cheaper than Holafly, and Saily sells no Chile unlimited.
