Airalo vs Saily in one paragraph
Airalo and Saily are close for Argentina and sell the same kind of unlimited, 3 GB a day at full speed, then 1 Mbps, with an app to buy and install in. Airalo is cheaper for a week, $34.50 against $34.99, and for a month, $97 against $98.99, and it sells 3 days at $19.50 and 10 days at $38.50, which Saily does not. Saily is cheaper for 15 days, $57.99 against $60, and it is the one of the two with 5, 20 and 25 days. Airalo names Movistar; Saily does not name its network. For fixed data the two are a cent apart: 10 GB is $30 at Airalo and $29.99 at Saily, and 20 GB is $47 at Airalo and $46.99 at Saily. For two weeks or a month of unlimited, neither is the cheapest: Ringo Light sells 2 weeks at $44.99 and 30 days at $56.99, unlimited data at full speed.
Price: the same trip at each
Priced on 25 October 2026, in US dollars. Airalo sells 3 days of unlimited at $19.50; Saily has no 3-day plan. For a week, Airalo asks $34.50 and Saily $34.99, so Airalo is 49 cents cheaper. Airalo sells 10 days at $38.50. For 15 days, Airalo's Argentina plan has run out, so its price is the Latin America plan at $60, against $57.99 at Saily: Saily is $2.01 cheaper. For 30 days, $97 at Airalo on the same regional plan against $98.99 at Saily: Airalo is $1.99 cheaper. Saily alone sells 5 days at $27.99, 20 days at $72.99 and 25 days at $86.99.
Ringo Light sells two trips for Argentina: 2 weeks at $44.99 and 30 days at $56.99. The 2 weeks costs $13.00 less than Saily's 15 days and $15.01 less than Airalo's. The 30 days costs $42.00 less than Saily's $98.99 and $40.01 less than Airalo's $97. Ringo Light sells no 3-day or 7-day plan; for 3 days Airalo at $19.50 is the cheapest of the three, and for a week Airalo at $34.50 is.
For a fixed amount of data, Saily and Airalo are level to the cent: 10 GB for 30 days at $29.99 and $30, 20 GB at $46.99 and $47. Ringo Light sells no buckets. If 10 GB is all you need, either is cheaper than our 2 weeks at $44.99, and we would rather you read that here than at checkout.
What unlimited means at each
Both brands give 3 GB a day at full speed, then slow to 1 Mbps for the rest of the day. Airalo's is the Abrazo! plan. That is enough for maps, messages and an hour or two of video; a long evening of streaming in HD will hit it, and a laptop on the hotspot will hit it sooner. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 2 weeks or 30 days. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in Argentina
Argentina has three national networks: Movistar, Claro and Personal. All three cover Buenos Aires, Cordoba, Mendoza, Salta and the tourist towns of Patagonia. Coverage thins out on the long roads across Patagonia, on the trails around El Chalten and in the high valleys of the north, whichever network you are on. Airalo rides Movistar. Saily does not name its network on its page, so you cannot check before you buy. Ringo Light rides a local partner network. For the south, download offline maps before you go.
Many Argentina trips cross a border: to the Brazilian side of Iguazu, to Chile for Torres del Paine, or on the ferry to Uruguay. An Argentina plan stops working at the border, Saily's and ours included. Airalo's Latin America plan, the one it sells for 15 and 30 days here, covers the neighbouring countries too. Saily also sells a Latin America plan, which the full comparison does not price, so we leave it out.
Installation, app and support
Both Airalo and Saily need their app: you buy, install and top up inside it. Ringo Light needs no app; the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, and support is by email. Whichever you pick, install it at home before you fly and switch it on for data when you land at Ezeiza or Aeroparque.
The cheaper third option: Ringo Light
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM, sold to fund the full Ringo, one plan that works everywhere with your own number ported onto it. For Argentina it sells two trips, both unlimited data at full speed: 2 weeks at $44.99 and 30 days at $56.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.
What it does not do: no buckets, no 3-day or 7-day plan, no phone number, data only, and it stops at the Argentine border. If you want 3 days or a week, Airalo at $19.50 or $34.50 is cheaper than anything we sell. For two weeks or a month of unlimited, Ringo Light is cheaper than both.
