Holafly vs Saily in one paragraph
Saily is cheaper than Holafly for Argentina on a week, $34.99 against $36.90, a gap of $1.91. From 15 days the order flips: Holafly asks $51.50 for 15 days against $57.99 at Saily, $6.49 less, and $91.50 for a month against $98.99, $7.49 less. Holafly also gives the simpler product: unlimited days with no stated daily cap, on Movistar through Telefonica, with its app needed only to read the data balance. Saily gives 3 GB a day at full speed, then 1 Mbps, does not name its network, and needs its app to buy and install. Saily is the one with more choice: 5, 20 and 25 days, and buckets at $29.99 for 10 GB and $46.99 for 20 GB. Pick Saily for a week, an odd length or a bucket. Pick Holafly for 15 days or a month between the two. For two weeks or a month of unlimited, neither is the cheapest: Ringo Light sells 2 weeks at $44.99 and 30 days at $56.99, unlimited data at full speed.
Price: the same trip at each
Priced on 25 October 2026, in US dollars, from each brand's own site. Holafly sells 3 days of unlimited at $19.90; Saily has no 3-day plan. For a week, Holafly asks $36.90 and Saily $34.99. For 15 days, Holafly asks $51.50 and Saily $57.99. For 30 days, $91.50 at Holafly and $98.99 at Saily. Saily wins the week, Holafly the 15 days and the month. Saily alone sells 5 days at $27.99, 20 days at $72.99 and 25 days at $86.99.
Ringo Light sells two trips for Argentina: 2 weeks at $44.99 and 30 days at $56.99. The 2 weeks costs $6.51 less than Holafly's 15 days and $13.00 less than Saily's. The 30 days costs $34.51 less than Holafly's $91.50 and $42.00 less than Saily's $98.99. Ringo Light sells no 3-day or 7-day plan; for a week Saily at $34.99 is the cheapest of the three.
For a fixed amount of data, Saily is the only one of the three that sells it: 10 GB for 30 days at $29.99, 20 GB at $46.99. Holafly sells no buckets. Ringo Light sells no buckets either. If 10 GB is all you need, Saily at $29.99 is cheaper than Ringo Light's $44.99, and we would rather you read that here than at checkout.
What unlimited means at each
Holafly states no daily cap for your own phone and limits hotspot sharing to 1 GB a day, so Holafly is the one to pick between the two if you share data to a laptop every day, but only up to that 1 GB. Saily gives 3 GB a day at full speed, then slows to 1 Mbps for the rest of the day. That is enough for maps, messages and an hour or two of video; a long evening of streaming in HD will hit it. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 2 weeks or 30 days. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in Argentina
Argentina has three national networks: Movistar, Claro and Personal. All three cover Buenos Aires, Cordoba, Mendoza, Salta and the tourist towns of Patagonia. Coverage thins out on the long roads across Patagonia, on the trails around El Chalten and in the high valleys of the north, whichever network you are on. Holafly lists Telefonica, which runs Movistar. Saily does not name its network on its page. Ringo Light rides a local partner network. For the south, download offline maps before you go.
Many Argentina trips cross a border: to the Brazilian side of Iguazu, to Chile for Torres del Paine, or on the ferry to Uruguay. An Argentina plan stops working at the border, Holafly's, Saily's and ours included. Saily sells a Latin America plan, which the full comparison does not price, so we leave it out.
Installation, app and support
Holafly's app is for the data balance; you install the eSIM from the details it sends, and support is by chat on its site. Saily needs its app: you buy, install and top up inside it. Ringo Light needs no app; the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, and support is by email. Whichever you pick, install it at home before you fly and switch it on for data when you land at Ezeiza or Aeroparque.
The cheaper third option: Ringo Light
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM, sold to fund the full Ringo, one plan that works everywhere with your own number ported onto it. For Argentina it sells two trips, both unlimited data at full speed: 2 weeks at $44.99 and 30 days at $56.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.
What it does not do: no buckets, no 3-day or 7-day plan, no phone number, data only, and it stops at the Argentine border. If you want 10 GB for a month, Saily at $29.99 is the better buy. If you want a week, Saily at $34.99 is cheaper than anything we sell. For two weeks or a month of unlimited, Ringo Light is cheaper than both.
