Airalo vs Saily in one paragraph
Price is not the reason to choose between these two. Airalo is $0.49 cheaper on the week, and Saily is $0.01 cheaper on 15 days, 30 days, 10 GB and 20 GB. Both give 3 GB a day at full speed, then 1 Mbps. What differs is the 3-day plan, which only Airalo sells, the network, which Airalo names (Kcell with 5G, Tele2 as a backup) and Saily does not, and that both need an app.
Ringo Light is below both for unlimited at 2 weeks and a month, and it is unlimited data at full speed.
Price: the same trip at each
Priced on 25 October 2026, in US dollars. Airalo asks $12.50 for 3 days of unlimited, $26.50 for 7, $49 for 15 and $72 for 30. Saily asks $26.99, $48.99 and $71.99 for the last three, and sells no 3-day plan.
So Airalo is $0.49 cheaper on the week, and Saily is $0.01 cheaper on 15 and 30 days.
Ringo Light sells two trips: 2 weeks at $22.99 and 30 days at $35.99, both unlimited data at full speed. The 2 weeks costs less than a 15-day plan at either brand, $49 or $48.99, and less than a week at $26.50 or $26.99. The 30 days costs about half of Airalo's $72 and Saily's $71.99. There is no 3-day plan, so for a long weekend you need another brand.
Both sell buckets: 10 GB for 30 days at $18 at Airalo and $17.99 at Saily, and 20 GB at $28 against $27.99. Ringo Light sells no bucket. The 10 GB buckets sit $4.99 and $5 under its 2 weeks at $22.99, and the 20 GB buckets sit $7.99 and $8 under its 30 days at $35.99. We would rather you read that here than at checkout.
What unlimited means at each
The two brands run the same cap: 3 GB a day at full speed, then 1 Mbps. That covers maps, messages and a fair amount of video, and a long day of streaming will hit it. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 2 weeks or 30 days. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in Kazakhstan
Kazakhstan has three mobile networks: Kcell, which also sells the Activ brand, Beeline, and Tele2, which runs together with Altel. All three cover Almaty, Astana, Shymkent and the main highways. Between cities the steppe is empty for hours, and coverage drops out for long stretches on the road and on the train. In the mountains above Almaty, at the lakes and in the canyons, signal is patchy on every network, so save offline maps before you leave the city.
Airalo uses Kcell with 5G and Tele2 as a backup. Saily does not name its network on its listing, so we cannot say which it rides. Ringo Light rides a local partner network.
Kazakhstan sits far from the European Union, so a European phone plan roams here at full price. Check yours before you land.
Installation and app
Airalo and Saily both need their own app, which is where you buy and install. Ringo Light needs none, as the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, with support by email. Whichever you pick, install it at home before you fly and switch on data when you land.
The cheaper third option: Ringo Light
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM. For Kazakhstan it sells two trips, both unlimited data at full speed: 2 weeks at $22.99 and 30 days at $35.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.
What it does not do: no buckets, no 3-day or 7-day plan, no phone number. It is data only, so calls go over apps that use data. For a fixed bucket, Airalo's 10 GB at $18 is cheaper than our 2 weeks at $22.99.

The app is required.

How we compared, and our sources
Airalo, Saily, Ringo Light
We priced Airalo, Saily and Ringo Light for Kazakhstan on 25 October 2026, all on the same day, in US dollars. Each rival's price comes from its own website where it showed dollars, otherwise from an esimdb.com listing, and every source and its date is listed below. Ringo Light's prices come from the catalogue our checkout charges.
We compare the trips people actually book: a week, two weeks and a month of unlimited data, and a 10 GB bucket. We read each brand's fair use and speed rules and quote them as the brands state them. We did not run speed tests, so this page makes no speed claims for any brand.
Ringo Light is our own product. We put it in the table on the same terms as everyone else, and where a rival is the better buy the page says so.
Left out: Holafly, Nomad and Ubigi. They sell Kazakhstan too and are priced on the same day in the full comparison at /blog/best-esim-for-kazakhstan. This page answers one question, Airalo or Saily, so it keeps to those two and the cheaper third option. Left out: Saily 3-day price. Saily sells no 3-day plan in the full comparison, so that length is not compared here.
