Holafly vs Saily in one paragraph

Saily is cheaper at every length both sell, by $0.51 on the week, $1.51 on 15 days and $1.91 on 30. Only Holafly has a 3-day plan, at $12.50, and only Saily sells buckets. Holafly states no daily cap and needs no app, where Saily slows to 1 Mbps after 3 GB a day and needs its app.

Ringo Light is under both for unlimited at 2 weeks and a month, and it is unlimited data at full speed.

Price: the same trip at each

Priced on 25 October 2026, in US dollars. Holafly asks $12.50 for 3 days of unlimited, $27.50 for 7, $50.50 for 15 and $73.90 for 30. Saily sells the last three, at $26.99, $48.99 and $71.99, and no 3-day plan.

That puts Saily ahead by $0.51 on the week, $1.51 on 15 days and $1.91 on 30. For a long weekend you have to go to Holafly.

Ringo Light sells two trips: 2 weeks at $22.99 and 30 days at $35.99, both unlimited data at full speed. The 2 weeks costs less than a 15-day plan at either brand, $50.50 or $48.99, and less than a week at $27.50 or $26.99. The 30 days costs about half of Holafly's $73.90 and Saily's $71.99. There is no 3-day plan, so for a long weekend you need another brand.

Only Saily sells buckets: 10 GB for 30 days at $17.99 and 20 GB at $27.99. Holafly and Ringo Light sell none. Saily's 10 GB sits $5 under Ringo Light's 2 weeks at $22.99, and its 20 GB sits $8 under Ringo Light's 30 days at $35.99. If you want a bucket, buy Saily. We would rather you read that here than at checkout.

What unlimited means at each

Holafly states no daily cap for your own phone and limits sharing to 1 GB a day. Saily lets you run 3 GB a day at full speed and then drops you to 1 Mbps. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 2 weeks or 30 days. Fair use policy, see Terms.

Networks and coverage in Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan has three mobile networks: Kcell, which also sells the Activ brand, Beeline, and Tele2, which runs together with Altel. All three cover Almaty, Astana, Shymkent and the main highways. Between cities the steppe is empty for hours, and coverage drops out for long stretches on the road and on the train. In the mountains above Almaty, at the lakes and in the canyons, signal is patchy on every network, so save offline maps before you leave the city.

Holafly uses Tele2 and Beeline. Saily does not name its network on its listing, so we cannot say which it rides. Ringo Light rides a local partner network.

Kazakhstan sits far from the European Union, so a European phone plan roams here at full price. Check yours before you land.

Installation and app

Holafly needs no app: it sends a QR code you scan in your phone's settings. Saily needs its app, where you buy and install. Ringo Light needs none either, as the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, with support by email. Whichever you pick, install it at home before you fly and switch on data when you land.

The cheaper third option: Ringo Light

Ringo Light is our own data eSIM. For Kazakhstan it sells two trips, both unlimited data at full speed: 2 weeks at $22.99 and 30 days at $35.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.

What it does not do: no buckets, no 3-day or 7-day plan, no phone number. It is data only, so calls go over apps that use data. For a fixed bucket, Saily's 10 GB at $17.99 beats our 2 weeks at $22.99 by $5.

The full comparison for Kazakhstan, with Airalo, Nomad and Ubigi priced on the same day, is at /blog/best-esim-for-kazakhstan. The card to buy Ringo Light is further up this page, just after the side-by-side table.

How we compared, and our sources

Holafly, Saily, Ringo Light

We priced Holafly, Saily and Ringo Light for Kazakhstan on 25 October 2026, all on the same day, in US dollars. Each rival's price comes from its own website where it showed dollars, otherwise from an esimdb.com listing, and every source and its date is listed below. Ringo Light's prices come from the catalogue our checkout charges.

We compare the trips people actually book: a week, two weeks and a month of unlimited data, and a 10 GB bucket. We read each brand's fair use and speed rules and quote them as the brands state them. We did not run speed tests, so this page makes no speed claims for any brand.

Ringo Light is our own product. We put it in the table on the same terms as everyone else, and where a rival is the better buy the page says so.

Left out: Airalo, Nomad and Ubigi. They sell Kazakhstan too and are priced on the same day in the full comparison at /blog/best-esim-for-kazakhstan. This page answers one question, Holafly or Saily, so it keeps to those two and the cheaper third option. Left out: Saily 3-day price. Saily sells no 3-day plan in the full comparison, so that length is not compared here.
