Holafly vs Saily in one paragraph
Holafly and Saily split Morocco between them. Saily is cheaper for 15 days of unlimited, $48.99 against $59.90, $10.91 less. Holafly is cheaper for a month, $86.90 against $89.99, $3.09 less. Holafly sells the short plans, 3 days at $14.90 and a week at $32.50, where Saily sells neither, and it is the only one of the two that names its networks, Maroc Telecom, Orange and inwi. Saily is the only one that sells buckets: 10 GB for 30 days at $33.99, 20 GB at $42.99. Holafly states no daily cap for your own phone; Saily gives 3 GB a day at full speed, then 1 Mbps. Pick Holafly for a short trip, a named network or no stated cap. Pick Saily for 15 days or a bucket. If the trip is two weeks or a month and you want unlimited, neither is the cheapest: Ringo Light sells 2 weeks at $26.99 and 30 days at $50.99, unlimited data at full speed.
Price: the same trip at each
Priced on 25 October 2026, in US dollars. For 3 days of unlimited, Holafly asks $14.90 and Saily sells no 3-day plan. For a week, Holafly asks $32.50 and Saily sells no 7-day plan. For 15 days, $59.90 at Holafly and $48.99 at Saily. For 30 days, $86.90 at Holafly and $89.99 at Saily. Saily wins the 15-day row by $10.91, Holafly wins the month by $3.09, and Holafly wins the short rows because Saily does not sell them.
Ringo Light sells two trips for Morocco: 2 weeks at $26.99 and 30 days at $50.99. The 2 weeks costs $32.91 less than Holafly's 15 days and $22.00 less than Saily's. It also costs $5.51 less than Holafly's 7 days at $32.50. The 30 days costs $35.91 less than Holafly's $86.90 and $39.00 less than Saily's $89.99. Ringo Light sells no 3-day plan: for a long weekend, Holafly at $14.90 is the only short plan of the three.
For a fixed amount of data, Saily is the only one of the three that sells it: 10 GB for 30 days at $33.99, 20 GB at $42.99, 5 GB at $21.99. Holafly sells no buckets, and Ringo Light sells none either. Ringo Light's 2 weeks of unlimited at $26.99 costs $7.00 less than Saily's 10 GB, but it lasts 2 weeks, not 30 days. If you need a little data to last a whole month, Saily's 10 GB is the better buy of these, and we would rather you read that here than at checkout.
What unlimited means at each
Holafly states no daily cap for data on your own phone in Morocco and limits hotspot sharing to 1 GB a day, so if you share data to a laptop every day, Holafly is the one of the two with a stated allowance, but only up to that 1 GB. Saily gives 3 GB a day at full speed, then slows to 1 Mbps for the rest of the day, enough for maps, messages, photos and an hour or two of video. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 2 weeks or 30 days, with no daily figure. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in Morocco, and the SIM rules
Morocco has three networks: Maroc Telecom (also called IAM), Orange and inwi. All three cover the cities, the motorways and the train lines well. Maroc Telecom is usually the strongest in the Atlas and the south. Holafly names all three, the only brand in the full comparison that does. Saily names none for Morocco. Ringo Light rides a local partner network. Past the last towns, on the road over the Tizi n'Tichka pass and out in the dunes of Merzouga, signal thins out on every network. Download offline maps before those drives.
A local SIM is cheap, and the operators sell them at the main airports and in phone shops, but every Moroccan SIM has to be registered with your passport, and top-ups are bought in dirhams. A travel eSIM installs at home before you fly and works from the moment you land.
Installation, app and support
Holafly's app is optional: it sends a QR code you scan in your phone's settings, and its support is by chat. Saily needs its app to buy, install and top up. Ringo Light needs no app; the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, and support is by email. Whichever you pick, install it at home before you fly and switch it on for data when you land at Casablanca or Marrakech.
The cheaper third option: Ringo Light
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM, sold to fund the full Ringo, one plan that works everywhere with your own number ported onto it. For Morocco it sells two trips, both unlimited data at full speed: 2 weeks at $26.99 and 30 days at $50.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.
What it does not do: no buckets, no 3-day or 7-day plan, no phone number, data only. Calls go over apps that use data. If you want 10 GB for a month, Saily at $33.99 is the better buy of these. If you want a long weekend, Holafly at $14.90 is the only short plan here. If you want a named network, Holafly is the one. For two weeks or a month of unlimited, Ringo Light is the cheapest of the three.
