The short answer
Airalo beats Holafly on price in Singapore at every length both sell, though never by much: $11.50 against $11.90 for 3 days, $27 against $27.50 for a week, $48 against $50.50 for 15 days and $69 against $73.90 for a month. The real split is the daily cap, since Holafly states none and Airalo slows you after 3 GB a day. Ringo Light, the third option, is unlimited data at full speed: 3 days at $8.99, 2 weeks at $17.99 or 30 days at $29.99.
Unlimited data at full speed: 3 days at $8.99, 2 weeks at $17.99, 30 days at $29.99. One payment, no app, nothing renews. Airalo asks $48 for 15 days and $69 for 30, Holafly $50.50 and $73.90. No 7-day plan, no buckets.
Unlimited on Singtel at $11.50 for 3 days, $27 for a week, $48 for 15 days and $69 for 30, at 3 GB a day full speed and then 1 Mbps. Buckets too: 10 GB for 30 days at $16, 20 GB at $23, 1 GB from $4. You need its app.
Holafly sells days, not gigabytes, on Singtel, and you install from a QR code. $11.90 for 3 days, $27.50 for a week, $50.50 for 15 days and $73.90 for 30. Sharing is limited to 1 GB a day. No buckets.

The 30-day unlimited plan at each brand that sells one. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed.

Airalo vs Holafly in one paragraph
Airalo is the cheaper of the two at every unlimited length, but the gaps are small: $0.40 on 3 days, $4.90 on the month. What separates them is the cap. Holafly states none for your own phone, while Airalo drops you to 1 Mbps after 3 GB a day. Airalo also sells buckets and Holafly does not.
Ringo Light costs less than either brand at every length it sells, and it is unlimited data at full speed. That is the one to look at first if the trip is 3 days, 2 weeks or a month.
Price: the same trip at each
Priced on 28 September 2026, in US dollars. Three days of unlimited is $11.50 at Airalo and $11.90 at Holafly. A week is $27 against $27.50. Fifteen days is $48 against $50.50, and thirty days is $69 against $73.90.
So Airalo wins every row, by $0.40, $0.50, $2.50 and $4.90 as the trip gets longer. Nobody should pick a brand for forty cents. Pick on the cap, the app and whether you want a bucket.
Ringo Light sells three trips here: 3 days at $8.99, 2 weeks at $17.99 and 30 days at $29.99, all unlimited data at full speed. The 2 weeks is under a 15-day plan at Airalo ($48) or Holafly ($50.50), and under either brand's 7 days at $27 and $27.50. The 30 days is less than half of Airalo's $69 and Holafly's $73.90. The 3 days at $8.99 sits below both brands' $11.50 and $11.90. There is no 7-day plan, so for exactly a week you buy the 2 weeks and still pay less.
Only Airalo sells a fixed amount of data: 10 GB for 30 days at $16 and 20 GB at $23. Holafly sells none and neither does Ringo Light. The $16 bucket is $1.99 under Ringo Light's 2 weeks at $17.99, and the $23 bucket is $6.99 under its 30 days at $29.99. If a bucket is all you need, take Airalo. We would rather you read that here than at checkout.
What unlimited means at each
Airalo gives you 3 GB a day at full speed, then 1 Mbps. That covers maps, messages and some video, and a long day of streaming will hit it. Holafly states no daily cap for your own phone and limits sharing to 1 GB a day. Ringo Light stays unlimited data at full speed for the whole 3 days, 2 weeks or 30 days. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in Singapore
Singapore has four mobile networks: Singtel, StarHub, M1 and Simba. The island is small and dense, and all four cover the city, the MRT underground and Changi well. Signal can drop inside thick buildings and on outlying islands such as Pulau Ubin.
Airalo uses Singtel plus one other network, Holafly uses Singtel, and Ringo Light rides a local partner network.
Plenty of visitors cross the Causeway to Johor Bahru or carry on into Malaysia. A Singapore plan, ours included, stops at the border. For a trip that continues, look at a regional plan; the full comparison at /blog/best-esim-for-singapore says which brands sell one.
Installation and app
Airalo needs its app, where you buy and install. Holafly needs none: it sends a QR code you scan in your phone's settings. Ringo Light needs no app either, as the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, with support by email. Whichever you pick, install it at home before you fly and switch on data when you land.
The cheaper third option: Ringo Light
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM. For Singapore it sells three trips, all unlimited data at full speed: 3 days at $8.99, 2 weeks at $17.99 and 30 days at $29.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.
What it does not do: no buckets, no 7-day plan, no phone number. It is data only, so calls go over apps that use data. For a fixed bucket, Airalo's 10 GB at $16 is cheaper than our 2 weeks at $17.99.
The full comparison for Singapore, with Saily, Nomad and Ubigi priced on the same day, is at /blog/best-esim-for-singapore. The card to buy Ringo Light is further up this page, just after the side-by-side table.
