Airalo vs Saily in one paragraph
Airalo wins the unlimited prices, by $0.99 on 15 days and $2.99 on 30. Saily wins the buckets, but only by $0.01 at both sizes, so price is no reason to pick it. The deciding fact is speed: Saily gives 5 GB a day at full speed and Airalo 3 GB, and both then drop to 1 Mbps. Airalo also sells 3-day and 7-day plans that Saily lacks, whose nearest are 5 days at $18.99 and 10 days at $34.99.
Ringo Light costs less than either brand for unlimited at 3 days, 2 weeks and a month, and it is unlimited data at full speed.
Price: the same trip at each
Priced on 28 September 2026, in US dollars. Airalo asks $11.50 for 3 days of unlimited, $27 for 7, $48 for 15 and $69 for 30. Saily sells only the last two of those lengths, at $48.99 for 15 days and $71.99 for 30.
That makes Airalo cheaper by $0.99 on 15 days and by $2.99 on 30. Saily has no 3-day or 7-day plan, only 5 days at $18.99 and 10 days at $34.99.
Ringo Light sells 3 days at $8.99, 2 weeks at $17.99 and 30 days at $29.99, all unlimited data at full speed. The 2 weeks costs less than a 15-day plan at either brand, $48 or $48.99, and less than Airalo's 7 days at $27. The 30 days costs less than half of Airalo's $69 and Saily's $71.99. Three days at $8.99 is under Airalo's $11.50.
Both sell buckets. 10 GB for 30 days is $16 at Airalo and $15.99 at Saily, and 20 GB is $23 against $22.99. Ringo Light sells no bucket. The 10 GB buckets sit $1.99 and $2 under its 2 weeks at $17.99, and the 20 GB buckets sit $6.99 and $7 under its 30 days at $29.99. We would rather you read that here than at checkout.
What unlimited means at each
Airalo's unlimited runs at full speed for 3 GB a day and then drops to 1 Mbps. Saily's runs at full speed for 5 GB a day, then drops to 1 Mbps as well. Five gigabytes will carry a lot of video, three will carry less. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 3 days, 2 weeks or 30 days. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in Singapore
Singapore has four mobile networks: Singtel, StarHub, M1 and Simba. The island is small and dense, and all four cover the city, the MRT underground and Changi well. Signal can drop inside thick buildings and on outlying islands such as Pulau Ubin.
Airalo uses Singtel plus one other network. Saily does not name its network on its listing, so we cannot say which it rides. Ringo Light rides a local partner network.
Plenty of visitors cross the Causeway to Johor Bahru or carry on into Malaysia. A Singapore plan, ours included, stops at the border. For a trip that continues, look at a regional plan; the full comparison at /blog/best-esim-for-singapore says which brands sell one.
Installation and app
Airalo and Saily both need their own app, which is where you buy and install. Ringo Light needs none, as the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, with support by email. Whichever you pick, install it at home before you fly and switch on data when you land.
The cheaper third option: Ringo Light
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM. For Singapore it sells three trips, all unlimited data at full speed: 3 days at $8.99, 2 weeks at $17.99 and 30 days at $29.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.
What it does not do: no buckets, no 7-day plan, no phone number. It is data only, so calls go over apps that use data. For a fixed bucket, Airalo's 10 GB at $16 is cheaper than our 2 weeks at $17.99.

How we compared, and our sources
Airalo, Saily, Ringo Light
We priced Airalo, Saily and Ringo Light for Singapore on 28 September 2026, all on the same day, in US dollars. Each rival's price comes from its own website where it showed dollars, otherwise from an esimdb.com listing, and every source and its date is listed below. Ringo Light's prices come from the catalogue our checkout charges.
We compare the trips people actually book: a week, two weeks and a month of unlimited data, and a 10 GB bucket. We read each brand's fair use and speed rules and quote them as the brands state them. We did not run speed tests, so this page makes no speed claims for any brand.
Ringo Light is our own product. We put it in the table on the same terms as everyone else, and where a rival is the better buy the page says so.
Left out: Holafly, Nomad and Ubigi. They sell Singapore too and are priced on the same day in the full comparison at /blog/best-esim-for-singapore. This page answers one question, Airalo or Saily, so it keeps to those two and the cheaper third option. Left out: Saily 3-day and 7-day prices. Saily sells no 3-day or 7-day plan in the full comparison, so those lengths are not compared here. Saily's listing is from July and saily.com refused the fetch.
- Airalo: www.airalo.com/singapore-esim?currency=USD, unlimited and networks in dollars on the site; buckets from esimdb.com/singapore/airalo, 23 September 2026
- Saily: esimdb.com/singapore/saily, listing dated 2 July 2026; saily.com refused the fetch
- Ringo Light: our own catalogue, the prices the checkout charges on 28 September 2026.
