1 · The short answer

The Singapore Grand Prix runs from 8 to 10 October 2027 on the Marina Bay Street Circuit, a night race under floodlights in the middle of the city. The circuit is divided into ticket zones, with concerts on site, and the heat and humidity stay high after dark.

Ringo Light's Singapore plan covers the whole island with unlimited data at full speed. In a city where almost everything is paid and booked by phone, that matters.

Dates: Friday 8 to Sunday 10 October 2027, round 18 of the 2027 Formula 1 season. Organiser's page

Ringo Light's Singapore plan covers the whole of Singapore: unlimited data at full speed, 2 weeks for $17.99 or 30 days for $29.99, nothing renews. The plan is at ringoesim.com/singapore, and every brand's price for Singapore is compared on one day in Best eSIM for Singapore.

2 · Getting to Marina Bay

Changi Airport is connected to the city by MRT and taxi. The circuit is ringed by MRT stations such as City Hall, Esplanade, Promenade and Bayfront, but some exits close or change on race weekend, and the walk from the station to your gate depends on your zone. Check the gate for your ticket in advance.

Ride-hailing works, but road closures around the circuit make the last stretch slow. The MRT is usually faster.

3 · Signal in a night race crowd

Singapore's networks are dense and fast, yet a sold-out circuit with concerts in the same zones means huge numbers of phones in a small area at the same moment. Expect uploads to slow around the start and the finish.

Save your e-ticket and the zone map offline. The heat drains batteries quickly, so carry a power bank.

4 · Apps, tickets and paying

  • ✓Official F1 app. Times, results and news; live timing needs an F1 TV subscription and data.
  • ✓Tickets. Sold through the Singapore Grand Prix's official site. Keep the ticket offline.
  • ✓MRT. Tap a contactless bank card or phone wallet at the gates; no separate travel card is needed.
  • ✓Paying. Singapore is close to cashless: cards and phone wallets work almost everywhere.

5 · What to do around the race

The race runs in the evening, so your days are free. Gardens by the Bay sits beside the circuit, Lau Pa Sat hawker centre is a short walk away, and Kampong Glam and Chinatown are good for food and shopping.
