The short answer
Nomad is the cheaper of the two for buckets in Singapore: $14 against $16 for 10 GB and $21 against $23 for 20 GB. Their unlimited plans do not line up. Airalo sells 3 days at $11.50, a week at $27, 15 days at $48 and 30 days at $69, while Nomad sells 5 days at $18 and 10 days at $27 and stops there. Ringo Light, the third option, is unlimited data at full speed for 3 days at $8.99, 2 weeks at $17.99 or 30 days at $29.99.
Unlimited data at full speed: 3 days at $8.99, 2 weeks at $17.99, 30 days at $29.99. No app, nothing renews. Airalo asks $48 for 15 days and $69 for 30, and Nomad sells no unlimited past 10 days. No 7-day plan, no buckets.
Unlimited on Singtel at $11.50 for 3 days, $27 for a week, $48 for 15 days and $69 for 30, 3 GB a day at full speed and then 1 Mbps. Buckets too: 10 GB for 30 days at $16, 20 GB at $23, 1 GB from $4. Needs its app.
10 GB for 30 days at $14 and 20 GB at $21, on StarHub and Singtel. Unlimited only as 5 days at $18 or 10 days at $27, at 2 GB a day and then slowed. Nothing at 15 or 30 days.

The prices, charted
US dollars, 28 September 2026. The rivals sell 15 days, Ringo Light 2 weeks. Airalo gives 3 GB a day at full speed, then 1 Mbps; Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed. Nomad has no 15-day unlimited figure in the full comparison, so it has no bar here.
The 30-day unlimited plan at each brand that sells one. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed. Nomad has no 30-day unlimited figure in the full comparison, so it has no bar here.
Ringo Light sells no bucket either: its 2 weeks is unlimited and lasts 2 weeks, not 30 days.

Airalo vs Nomad in one paragraph
These two do not compete on unlimited, because their lengths never match. Nomad stops at 5 days for $18 or 10 days for $27, at 2 GB a day, while Airalo runs from 3 days to 30 and slows to 1 Mbps after 3 GB a day. Buckets are where Nomad wins, by $2 at both sizes: $14 against $16 for 10 GB, $21 against $23 for 20 GB.
For unlimited, Ringo Light is the cheapest of the three, and it is unlimited data at full speed from 3 days up to 30.
Price: the same trip at each
Priced on 28 September 2026, in US dollars. Airalo asks $11.50 for 3 days of unlimited, $27 for 7, $48 for 15 and $69 for 30. Nomad sells none of those lengths. It has 5 days at $18 and 10 days at $27, so Airalo's week and Nomad's 10 days cost the same $27.
Buckets are where Nomad wins. 10 GB for 30 days is $14 at Nomad and $16 at Airalo, and 20 GB is $21 against $23. Ringo Light sells no bucket. Against its 2 weeks at $17.99, Airalo's $16 is $1.99 lower and Nomad's $14 is $3.99 lower. Against its 30 days at $29.99, Airalo's $23 is $6.99 lower and Nomad's $21 is $8.99 lower. We would rather you read that here than at checkout.
Ringo Light sells 3 days at $8.99, 2 weeks at $17.99 and 30 days at $29.99, all unlimited data at full speed. The 2 weeks costs less than Airalo's 15 days at $48 and less than Airalo's 7 days at $27, and it even undercuts Nomad's 5 days at $18. The 30 days costs less than half of Airalo's $69. Three days at $8.99 is under Airalo's $11.50.
What unlimited means at each
Airalo's unlimited gives you 3 GB a day at full speed, then 1 Mbps. Nomad's gives 2 GB a day, then slows you. A day of heavy video will hit either cap. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 3 days, 2 weeks or 30 days. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in Singapore
Singapore has four mobile networks: Singtel, StarHub, M1 and Simba. The island is small and dense, and all four cover the city, the MRT underground and Changi well. Signal can drop inside thick buildings and on outlying islands such as Pulau Ubin.
Airalo uses Singtel plus one other network, Nomad uses StarHub and Singtel, and Ringo Light rides a local partner network.
Plenty of visitors cross the Causeway to Johor Bahru or carry on into Malaysia. A Singapore plan, ours included, stops at the border. For a trip that continues, look at a regional plan; the full comparison at /blog/best-esim-for-singapore says which brands sell one.
Installation and app
Airalo needs its app, where you buy and install. Nomad treats its app as optional. Ringo Light needs none, as the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, with support by email. Whichever you pick, install it at home before you fly and switch on data when you land.
The cheaper third option: Ringo Light
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM. For Singapore it sells three trips, all unlimited data at full speed: 3 days at $8.99, 2 weeks at $17.99 and 30 days at $29.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.
What it does not do: no buckets, no 7-day plan, no phone number. It is data only, so calls go over apps that use data. For a fixed bucket, Nomad's 10 GB at $14 beats our 2 weeks at $17.99 by $3.99.
The full comparison for Singapore, with Holafly, Saily and Ubigi priced on the same day, is at /blog/best-esim-for-singapore. The card to buy Ringo Light is further up this page, just after the side-by-side table.
Which to pick
- ✓Ringo Light, if you want unlimited for 3 days, two weeks or a month. $8.99 for 3 days, $17.99 for 2 weeks or $29.99 for 30 days, all unlimited data at full speed and each below Airalo's price at 3, 15 and 30 days.
- Airalo, if you want a fixed bucket or unlimited days from one brand, and do not mind its app. Unlimited on Singtel from $11.50 for 3 days up to $69 for 30, at 3 GB a day and then 1 Mbps, or 10 GB for 30 days at $16, 20 GB at $23 and 1 GB from $4. The app is required.
- Nomad, if you want a bucket, or a short unlimited of 5 or 10 days. Buckets of 10 GB at $14 and 20 GB at $21 on StarHub and Singtel, plus unlimited for 5 days at $18 or 10 days at $27, at 2 GB a day. Nothing for 15 or 30 days.

Ringo Light, 2 weeks, $17.99. Airalo's 15 days is $48, and Nomad sells no unlimited that long.
Ringo Light, 30 days, $29.99, where Airalo wants $69 and Nomad sells nothing that long.
Nomad, 10 GB for 30 days at $14, or Airalo at $16. Ringo Light sells no bucket.
None of these plans gives you a phone number. They are data only, and calls go over apps that use data.

How we compared, and our sources
Airalo, Nomad, Ringo Light
We priced Airalo, Nomad and Ringo Light for Singapore on 28 September 2026, all on the same day, in US dollars. Each rival's price comes from its own website where it showed dollars, otherwise from an esimdb.com listing, and every source and its date is listed below. Ringo Light's prices come from the catalogue our checkout charges.
We compare the trips people actually book: a week, two weeks and a month of unlimited data, and a 10 GB bucket. We read each brand's fair use and speed rules and quote them as the brands state them. We did not run speed tests, so this page makes no speed claims for any brand.
Ringo Light is our own product. We put it in the table on the same terms as everyone else, and where a rival is the better buy the page says so.
Left out: Holafly, Saily and Ubigi. They sell Singapore too and are priced on the same day in the full comparison at /blog/best-esim-for-singapore. This page answers one question, Airalo or Nomad, so it keeps to those two and the cheaper third option. Left out: Nomad unlimited past 10 days. The full comparison shows no 15-day or 30-day unlimited at Nomad, and no unlimited price for a week, so those lengths are not compared here.
