Airalo vs Nomad in one paragraph
Nomad is cheaper than Airalo for Greece at every length both sell: $11 against $11.50 for 3 days, $25 against $27 for a week, $18 against $20 for 10 GB and $21 against $35.50 for 20 GB. Airalo is the only one of the two that sells 15 days and 30 days of unlimited, at $48 and $69, so if the trip is two weeks or a month and you want unlimited, Nomad has no plan for you. Both slow you down on unlimited: Nomad after 2 GB a day, Airalo after 3 GB. Pick Nomad for a short trip or a bucket at the lowest price of the two. Pick Airalo if you need 15 or 30 days of unlimited from one of them. If the trip is two weeks or a month, Ringo Light sells 2 weeks at $14.99 and 30 days at $26.99, unlimited data at full speed.
Price: the same trip at each
Priced on 25 October 2026, in US dollars, from each brand's own site. For 3 days of unlimited, Airalo asks $11.50 and Nomad $11. For a week, $27 at Airalo and $25 at Nomad. Nomad is cheaper in both, by $0.50 and $2. For fixed data over 30 days, Airalo asks $20 for 10 GB and $35.50 for 20 GB; Nomad asks $18 and $21. That is $2 less at 10 GB and $14.50 less at 20 GB.
Longer unlimited is Airalo only. It sells 15 days at $48 and 30 days at $69. Nomad sells no 15-day plan, only 10 days at $33, and no 30-day unlimited, so the two-week and month charts show Airalo and Ringo Light and leave Nomad out rather than compare unlike lengths.
Ringo Light sells three trips for Greece: 3 days at $8.99, 2 weeks at $14.99 and 30 days at $26.99. Its 3 days costs $2.01 less than Nomad's $11. Its 2 weeks at $14.99 costs less than Nomad's 7 days at $25 and less than Nomad's 10 days at $33. Its 30 days at $26.99 costs less than half of Airalo's $69. Ringo Light sells no buckets: if you want 10 GB or 20 GB that lasts a month, Nomad at $18 or $21 is the better buy, and we would rather you read that here than at checkout.
What unlimited means at each
Airalo's unlimited for Greece gives 3 GB a day at full speed, then slows to 1 Mbps for the rest of the day. Nomad gives 2 GB a day at full speed, then slower. Both are enough for maps, ferry tickets and messages; a long evening of video or a laptop on the hotspot will hit Nomad's 2 GB first. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 3 days, 2 weeks or 30 days. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in Greece
Greece has three networks. Cosmote is the largest, and Vodafone and Nova follow. On Santorini, Mykonos, Crete, Rhodes and Corfu all three work well. On the smaller islands and in the mountains, signal can drop to 4G or thin out, and Holafly says so on its own page. Airalo's own page names Nova, with one other network. Nomad rides Nova and Vodafone. Ringo Light rides a local partner network. None of the three is the brand to pick for Cosmote, which only Saily names in the full comparison. Whichever you buy, download offline maps and ferry tickets before you leave port.
Installation, app and support
Airalo's app is optional: you can buy on its site and install from the details it sends, or do it all in the app, where its support chat also lives. Nomad's app is optional too. Ringo Light needs no app; the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, and support is by email. Whichever you pick, install it at home before you fly and switch it on for data when you land in Athens, Thessaloniki or on the islands.
The cheaper third option: Ringo Light
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM, sold to fund the full Ringo, one plan that works everywhere with your own number ported onto it. For Greece it sells three trips, all unlimited data at full speed: 3 days at $8.99, 2 weeks at $14.99 and 30 days at $26.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.
What it does not do: no buckets, no 7-day plan, no phone number, data only. Calls go over apps that use data. If you want 10 GB or 20 GB that lasts a month, Nomad at $18 or $21 is cheaper than our 30 days at $26.99. For 3 days, two weeks or a month of unlimited, Ringo Light is the cheapest of the three.
