Airalo vs Saily in one paragraph
The two are close for Greece. Airalo is cheaper than Saily for 15 days ($48 against $48.99), 30 days ($69 against $71.99), 10 GB ($20 against $22.99) and 20 GB ($35.50 against $35.99), and it is the only one with a 3-day plan, at $11.50. Saily is cheaper for a week by one cent, $26.99 against $27. Saily gives you more at full speed, 5 GB a day against Airalo's 3 GB, and it names Cosmote, the largest Greek network; but it needs its app, and Airalo's is optional. Pick Airalo for the lowest price on most lengths and a 3-day plan. Pick Saily if you want Cosmote or the higher daily figure. If the trip is two weeks or a month and you want unlimited, Ringo Light sells 2 weeks at $14.99 and 30 days at $26.99, unlimited data at full speed.
Price: the same trip at each
Priced on 25 October 2026, in US dollars, from each brand's own site. Airalo sells 3 days of unlimited at $11.50; Saily sells no 3-day plan. For a week, $27 at Airalo and $26.99 at Saily, one cent apart. For 15 days, $48 at Airalo and $48.99 at Saily. For 30 days, $69 at Airalo and $71.99 at Saily.
For a fixed amount of data over 30 days, Airalo asks $20 for 10 GB and $35.50 for 20 GB. Saily asks $22.99 and $35.99. Airalo is cheaper by $2.99 at 10 GB and by $0.49 at 20 GB.
Ringo Light sells three trips for Greece: 3 days at $8.99, 2 weeks at $14.99 and 30 days at $26.99. The 2 weeks costs less than a third of Airalo's 15 days at $48 or Saily's at $48.99, and less than either one's week. The 30 days costs less than half of Airalo's $69 and Saily's $71.99. Ringo Light sells no 7-day plan and no buckets. If you need 10 GB that lasts a month, Airalo at $20 is cheaper than our 30 days at $26.99, and we would rather you read that here than at checkout.
What unlimited means at each
Airalo's unlimited for Greece gives 3 GB a day at full speed, then slows to 1 Mbps for the rest of the day. Saily gives 5 GB a day at full speed, then 1 Mbps. Saily's figure is the more generous: a day of maps, ferry tickets, photos and a long evening of video fits inside 5 GB more easily than 3 GB. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 3 days, 2 weeks or 30 days. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in Greece
Greece has three networks. Cosmote is the largest, and Vodafone and Nova follow. On Santorini, Mykonos, Crete, Rhodes and Corfu all three work well. On the smaller islands and in the mountains, signal can drop to 4G or thin out, and Holafly says so on its own page. Airalo's own page names Nova, with one other network. Saily is the only brand in the full comparison to name Cosmote, and it offers Cosmote or Vodafone. Ringo Light rides a local partner network. If you want to know which network you will be on before you buy, Saily and Airalo both say. Whichever you buy, download offline maps and ferry tickets before you leave port.
Installation, app and support
Airalo's app is optional: you can buy on its site and install from the details it sends, or do it all in the app, where its support chat also lives. Saily needs its app. Ringo Light needs no app; the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, and support is by email. Whichever you pick, install it at home before you fly and switch it on for data when you land in Athens, Thessaloniki or on the islands.
The cheaper third option: Ringo Light
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM, sold to fund the full Ringo, one plan that works everywhere with your own number ported onto it. For Greece it sells three trips, all unlimited data at full speed: 3 days at $8.99, 2 weeks at $14.99 and 30 days at $26.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.
What it does not do: no buckets, no 7-day plan, no phone number, data only. Calls go over apps that use data. If you want 10 GB that lasts a month, Airalo at $20 is cheaper than our 30 days at $26.99. For 3 days, two weeks or a month of unlimited, Ringo Light is the cheapest of the three.
