Holafly vs Nomad in one paragraph
The two are built differently for Greece. Nomad is cheaper at both lengths they share, $11 against $11.90 for 3 days and $25 against $27.50 for a week, and it sells buckets, 10 GB at $18 and 20 GB at $21. Holafly is the only one of the two with 15 days and 30 days of unlimited, at $51.50 and $76.50, and it gives the simpler product: no stated daily cap, set up by email with no app, where Nomad slows you after 2 GB a day. Both ride Vodafone and Nova. Pick Nomad for a short trip or a bucket. Pick Holafly if the trip is two weeks or a month and you want unlimited from one of them. If you want unlimited for two weeks or a month at the lowest price, Ringo Light sells 2 weeks at $14.99 and 30 days at $26.99, unlimited data at full speed.
Price: the same trip at each
Priced on 25 October 2026, in US dollars, from each brand's own site. For 3 days of unlimited, Holafly asks $11.90 and Nomad $11. For a week, $27.50 at Holafly and $25 at Nomad. Nomad is cheaper in both, by $0.90 and $2.50.
Longer unlimited is Holafly only. It sells 15 days at $51.50 and 30 days at $76.50. Nomad sells no 15-day plan, only 10 days at $33, and no 30-day unlimited, so the two-week and month charts show Holafly and Ringo Light and leave Nomad out rather than compare unlike lengths. For fixed data, Nomad is the only one of the two that sells it: 10 GB for 30 days at $18 and 20 GB at $21. Holafly sells no buckets.
Ringo Light sells three trips for Greece: 3 days at $8.99, 2 weeks at $14.99 and 30 days at $26.99. Its 3 days costs $2.01 less than Nomad's $11 and $2.91 less than Holafly's $11.90. Its 2 weeks at $14.99 costs less than Nomad's week at $25 and less than Holafly's week at $27.50. Its 30 days costs less than half of Holafly's $76.50. Ringo Light sells no buckets: if you want 10 GB or 20 GB that lasts a month, Nomad at $18 or $21 is the better buy, and we would rather you read that here than at checkout.
What unlimited means at each
Holafly states no daily cap for your own phone in Greece, and limits hotspot sharing to 1 GB a day. Nomad gives 2 GB a day at full speed, then slower. That is a lower daily figure than Airalo's 3 GB or Saily's 5 GB, so a long evening of video or a laptop on the hotspot will hit it first. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 3 days, 2 weeks or 30 days. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in Greece
Greece has three networks. Cosmote is the largest, and Vodafone and Nova follow. On Santorini, Mykonos, Crete, Rhodes and Corfu all three work well. On the smaller islands and in the mountains, signal can drop to 4G or thin out, and Holafly says so on its own page. Holafly rides Vodafone and Nova. Nomad rides Nova and Vodafone. Ringo Light rides a local partner network. Neither Holafly nor Nomad is the brand to pick for Cosmote, which only Saily names in the full comparison. Whichever you buy, download offline maps and ferry tickets before you leave port.
Installation, app and support
Holafly needs no app; setup comes by email and you add the eSIM in your phone's settings, with support by chat on its site. Nomad's app is optional. Ringo Light needs no app either; the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, and support is by email. Whichever you pick, install it at home before you fly and switch it on for data when you land in Athens, Thessaloniki or on the islands.
The cheaper third option: Ringo Light
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM, sold to fund the full Ringo, one plan that works everywhere with your own number ported onto it. For Greece it sells three trips, all unlimited data at full speed: 3 days at $8.99, 2 weeks at $14.99 and 30 days at $26.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.
What it does not do: no buckets, no 7-day plan, no phone number, data only. Calls go over apps that use data. If you want 10 GB or 20 GB that lasts a month, Nomad at $18 or $21 is cheaper than our 30 days at $26.99. For 3 days, two weeks or a month of unlimited, Ringo Light is the cheapest of the three.
