Holafly vs Saily for Greece in 2026.

Holafly vs Saily in one paragraph

Saily is cheaper than Holafly for Greece at every length both sell, by cents on the week and by a few dollars on 15 and 30 days. Holafly is the only one of the two with a 3-day plan, at $11.90, and it gives you the simpler product: unlimited days with no stated daily cap, set up by email with no app. Saily gives more choice, buckets of 10 GB and 20 GB as well as unlimited, and it names Cosmote, the largest Greek network; but it slows you to 1 Mbps after 5 GB a day, and it needs its app. Pick Saily for the lowest price of the two or a bucket. Pick Holafly if you want a 3-day plan, no app, or no daily cap. If the trip is two weeks or a month and you want unlimited, Ringo Light sells 2 weeks at $14.99 and 30 days at $26.99, unlimited data at full speed.

Price: the same trip at each

Priced on 25 October 2026, in US dollars, from each brand's own site. Holafly sells 3 days of unlimited at $11.90; Saily sells no 3-day plan. For a week, $27.50 at Holafly and $26.99 at Saily. For 15 days, $51.50 at Holafly and $48.99 at Saily. For 30 days, $76.50 at Holafly and $71.99 at Saily. Saily is cheaper by $0.51 on the week, $2.51 on 15 days and $4.51 on the month.

For a fixed amount of data, Saily is the only one of the two that sells it: 10 GB for 30 days at $22.99 and 20 GB at $35.99. Holafly sells no buckets.

Ringo Light sells three trips for Greece: 3 days at $8.99, 2 weeks at $14.99 and 30 days at $26.99. The 2 weeks costs less than a third of Holafly's 15 days at $51.50 and Saily's at $48.99. The 30 days costs less than half of Holafly's $76.50 and Saily's $71.99. Ringo Light sells no 7-day plan, and no buckets. Our 2 weeks at $14.99 costs less than Saily's 10 GB, but it lasts 2 weeks, not 30 days. If you need light data for a whole month, Saily's 10 GB at $22.99 is cheaper than our 30 days at $26.99, and we would rather you read that here than at checkout.

What unlimited means at each

Holafly states no daily cap for your own phone in Greece, and limits hotspot sharing to 1 GB a day. Saily gives 5 GB a day at full speed, then slows to 1 Mbps for the rest of the day. That is enough for maps, ferry tickets, photos and a good deal of video; a laptop on the hotspot will hit it sooner. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 3 days, 2 weeks or 30 days. Fair use policy, see Terms.

Networks and coverage in Greece

Greece has three networks. Cosmote is the largest, and Vodafone and Nova follow. On Santorini, Mykonos, Crete, Rhodes and Corfu all three work well. On the smaller islands and in the mountains, signal can drop to 4G or thin out, and Holafly says so on its own page. Holafly rides Vodafone and Nova. Saily is the only brand in the full comparison to name Cosmote, and it offers Cosmote or Vodafone. Ringo Light rides a local partner network. Whichever you buy, download offline maps and ferry tickets before you leave port.

Installation, app and support

Holafly needs no app; setup comes by email and you add the eSIM in your phone's settings, with support by chat on its site. Saily needs its app, where you buy, install and see what is left. Ringo Light needs no app either; the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, and support is by email. Whichever you pick, install it at home before you fly and switch it on for data when you land in Athens, Thessaloniki or on the islands.

The cheaper third option: Ringo Light

Ringo Light is our own data eSIM, sold to fund the full Ringo, one plan that works everywhere with your own number ported onto it. For Greece it sells three trips, all unlimited data at full speed: 3 days at $8.99, 2 weeks at $14.99 and 30 days at $26.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.

What it does not do: no buckets, no 7-day plan, no phone number, data only. Calls go over apps that use data. If you want 10 GB that lasts a month, Saily at $22.99 is cheaper than our 30 days at $26.99. For 3 days, two weeks or a month of unlimited, Ringo Light is the cheapest of the three.
