Holafly vs Saily in one paragraph
Saily is cheaper than Holafly for Canada at every length both sell: $28.99 against $36.50 for a week, $7.51 less, $43.99 against $50.50 for 15 days, $6.51 less, and $85.99 against $95.90 for 30 days, $9.91 less. Holafly gives you the simpler product: unlimited days with no stated daily cap, installed from a QR code with no app, on Bell and Telus. Saily gives you more choice, buckets of 10 GB and 20 GB as well as unlimited, but its unlimited slows to 1 Mbps after 3 GB a day, you need its app, and it names no network on its page. Holafly sells 3 days at $19.90; Saily sells no 3-day plan. Pick Saily if you want a bucket or the lower price at a week, 15 or 30 days. Pick Holafly for a 3-day trip, or if you never want to think about a daily cap. If the trip is two weeks or a month and you want unlimited, neither is the cheapest: Ringo Light sells 2 weeks at $32.99 and 30 days at $57.99, unlimited data at full speed.
Price: the same trip at each
Priced on 25 October 2026, in US dollars, from each brand's own site. For 3 days of unlimited, Holafly asks $19.90; Saily sells no 3-day plan. For a week, $36.50 at Holafly and $28.99 at Saily. For 15 days, $50.50 at Holafly and $43.99 at Saily. For 30 days, $95.90 at Holafly and $85.99 at Saily. Saily wins every length both sell. Mobile data costs more in Canada than in Europe or Asia, and both price lists show it.
Ringo Light sells two trips for Canada: 2 weeks at $32.99 and 30 days at $57.99. The 2 weeks costs $17.51 less than Holafly's 15 days at $50.50 and $11.00 less than Saily's at $43.99. The 30 days costs $37.91 less than Holafly's $95.90 and $28 less than Saily's $85.99. Ringo Light sells no 3-day plan and no 7-day plan; for 3 days, Holafly at $19.90 is your only choice of the three, and for a week, Saily at $28.99 beats our 2 weeks at $32.99 by $4.00, though our 2 weeks lasts twice as long.
For a fixed amount of data, Saily is the only one of the three that sells it: 10 GB for 30 days at $30.99, 20 GB at $43.99. Holafly sells no buckets. Ringo Light sells no buckets either. If 10 GB is all you need, Saily is $2.00 cheaper than Ringo Light's $32.99, and we would rather you read that here than at checkout.
What unlimited means at each
Saily's unlimited for Canada gives 3 GB a day at full speed, then slows to 1 Mbps until the next day. That is enough for maps, messages and an hour or two of video; a long evening of streaming in HD will hit it. Holafly states no daily cap for your own phone and limits hotspot sharing to 1 GB a day, so Holafly is the one to pick between the two if you refuse any cap on your own screen, though sharing to a laptop is limited to 1 GB. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 2 weeks or 30 days. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in Canada
Canada has three national networks, Bell, Rogers and Telus, and Bell and Telus share much of theirs. Freedom Mobile covers the big cities of Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia, Videotron is strongest in Quebec, and SaskTel in Saskatchewan. Holafly rides Bell and Telus. Saily does not name its network on its listing. Ringo Light rides a local partner network. Any of the three works in Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City, Calgary and Vancouver.
Outside the towns, coverage ends fast. The Icefields Parkway between Lake Louise and Jasper has long stretches with no signal on any network, and so do the back roads of the national parks and the north. Whatever you buy, download offline maps before you drive into the mountains. For the brand that names five networks and switches between them, see Ubigi in the full comparison.
Installation and app
Saily needs its app. Holafly needs no app; it sends a QR code you scan in your phone's settings. Ringo Light needs no app either; the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, and support is by email. Whichever you pick, install it at home before you fly and switch it on for data when you land at Toronto Pearson, Montreal or Vancouver.
The cheaper third option: Ringo Light
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM, sold to fund the full Ringo, one plan that works everywhere with your own number ported onto it. For Canada it sells two trips, both unlimited data at full speed: 2 weeks at $32.99 and 30 days at $57.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.
What it does not do: no buckets, no 3-day plan, no 7-day plan, no phone number, data only. Calls go over apps that use data. If you want 10 GB for a month, Saily at $30.99 is $2.00 cheaper than our 2 weeks at $32.99. If you want 3 days, Holafly at $19.90 is the only one of the three. If you want a week, Saily at $28.99 is $4.00 cheaper than our 2 weeks. For two weeks or a month of unlimited, Ringo Light is the cheapest of the three.

Frequently asked questions
How we compared, and our sources
Holafly, Saily, Ringo Light
We priced Holafly, Saily and Ringo Light for Canada on 25 October 2026, all on the same day, in US dollars. Each rival's price comes from its own website where it showed dollars, otherwise from an esimdb.com listing, and every source and its date is listed below. Ringo Light's prices come from the catalogue our checkout charges.
We compare the trips people actually book: a week, two weeks and a month of unlimited data, and a 10 GB bucket. We read each brand's fair use and speed rules and quote them as the brands state them. We did not run speed tests, so this page makes no speed claims for any brand.
Ringo Light is our own product. We put it in the table on the same terms as everyone else, and where a rival is the better buy the page says so.
Left out: Airalo, Nomad and Ubigi. They sell Canada too and are priced on the same day in the full comparison at /blog/best-esim-for-canada. This page answers one question, Holafly or Saily, so it keeps to those two and the cheaper third option. Left out: Holafly and Saily at 3 days. Holafly sells 3 days at $19.90, but Saily sells no 3-day plan for Canada (its shortest is 5 days at $19.99), so there is no like-for-like 3-day price and we call neither cheaper.
