The Canadian Grand Prix runs from 21 to 23 May 2027 at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, on Île Notre-Dame in the St Lawrence River, facing downtown Montreal. The whole city joins in, with street festivals downtown over race weekend.

2 · Getting to Île Notre-Dame
Montreal-Trudeau Airport connects to downtown by the 747 express bus. To reach the circuit, take the yellow metro line to Jean-Drapeau station, then walk to your grandstand. There is no public parking on the island on race weekend, so the metro, a bike or your feet are the options.
After the race the metro station is crowded; waiting in the park for the queue to drop is often faster.
3 · Signal on a crowded island
The circuit is narrow and long, with grandstands packed along the river and the Olympic rowing basin. When they all fill, data slows and uploads queue. Save your ticket and the island map offline.
Downtown on Saturday night, the street festivals bring the same crowding. Agree meeting points with friends.

5 · What to do around the race
