The short answer
Airalo is cheaper than Holafly at every length they both sell, though never by much: $11.50 against $11.90 for 3 days, $26.50 against $27.50 for a week, $48 against $50.50 for 15 days and $69 against $73.90 for 30. What really separates them is the daily limit: Airalo slows to 1 Mbps after 3 GB a day, while Holafly states no cap for your own phone and stops hotspot sharing at 1 GB a day. Ringo Light, our third option, is unlimited data at full speed, priced at $13.99 for 2 weeks and $26.99 for 30 days, and it sells no 3-day or 7-day plan.
Unlimited data at full speed: $13.99 for 2 weeks and $26.99 for 30 days. One payment, nothing renews, no app. There is no 3-day or 7-day plan and no bucket.
$11.50 for 3 days, $26.50 for a week, $48 for 15 days and $69 for 30 days of unlimited, slowing to 1 Mbps after 3 GB a day. Buckets too: 10 GB for 30 days at $15, 20 GB at $24. It rides O2 and Vodafone and needs its app.
$11.90 for 3 days, $27.50 for a week, $50.50 for 15 days and $73.90 for 30 days, sold in days with no buckets. Your own phone has no stated cap; sharing stops at 1 GB a day. It rides O2 and Vodafone and installs from a QR code.

The prices, charted
US dollars, 28 September 2026. Ringo Light sells 2 weeks, the rivals 15 days. Airalo: 3 GB a day at full speed, then 1 Mbps. Holafly: no daily cap stated for your own phone; sharing limited to 1 GB a day. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed.
The 30-day plan at each brand. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed.
Holafly sells no buckets, so it has no bar here. Ringo Light sells no bucket either: its 2 weeks is unlimited, and lasts 2 weeks, not 30 days. For a fixed 10 GB, Airalo is the only one of the two that sells it.

Airalo vs Holafly in one paragraph
Airalo is cheaper than Holafly at every length both sell, by $0.40 on 3 days and $4.90 on 30. Only Airalo sells buckets here: 10 GB for 30 days at $15 and 20 GB at $24. The other fact is the daily limit. Airalo slows to 1 Mbps after 3 GB a day; Holafly states no cap for your own phone and limits sharing to 1 GB a day. For two weeks or a month of unlimited, neither is the cheapest: Ringo Light is $13.99 and $26.99, unlimited data at full speed.
Price: the same trip at each
Prices are in US dollars, taken on 28 September 2026. Airalo is under Holafly at all four lengths. The gap is $0.40 on 3 days, $1 on a week, $2.50 on 15 days and $4.90 on 30 days, so the saving grows with the trip but stays small.
Ringo Light sells two trips here, and both beat the rivals. Two weeks is $13.99, less than either brand asks for one week ($26.50 at Airalo, $27.50 at Holafly) and well under their 15 days at $48 and $50.50. Thirty days is $26.99, against $69 and $73.90. There is no 3-day plan, so for a long weekend a brand that sells one is the buy.
Only Airalo sells a fixed amount of data here: 10 GB for 30 days at $15 and 20 GB at $24. Holafly sells days, not gigabytes, and Ringo Light has no buckets either. Our 2 weeks at $13.99 is less than Airalo's 10 GB, but it is unlimited data at full speed and ends after 2 weeks, not 30 days. If you want 20 GB to last a month, Airalo at $24 is cheaper than our 30 days at $26.99. We would rather you read that here than at checkout.
What unlimited means at each
Airalo's unlimited for Czechia, the Prosim plan, gives 3 GB a day at full speed and then 1 Mbps. That is plenty for maps, messages and photos, and a long evening of HD streaming or a laptop on the hotspot is what reaches the limit. Holafly states no cap for your own phone, but it limits sharing to 1 GB a day, so a daily laptop user hits a ceiling there too. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole trip, whichever length you pick. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in Czechia
Czechia has three networks: O2, T-Mobile and Vodafone, and none of the brands here names T-Mobile. All three cover Prague, the other cities and the main rail and road routes well, with 5G in the cities. Coverage thins in the border mountains and forests, and Holafly names the Krkonose, Sumava and Bohemian Switzerland on its own page. Airalo and Holafly name the same two networks, O2 and Vodafone, and Ringo Light uses a local partner network.
Czechia is in the EU but keeps its own money, the koruna. A home plan from an EU country usually roams there at home prices, so you may not need a travel eSIM at all. A Czechia plan stops at the border, so for a trip that goes on to Vienna, Dresden or Krakow a Europe plan is the better buy.
Installation and app
Airalo wants you to buy and install inside its app. Holafly sends a QR code to scan in your phone's settings, with no app. Ringo Light needs no app: the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan. Whichever you pick, install at home before you fly and switch on data when you land.
The cheaper third option: Ringo Light
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM. For Czechia it sells two trips, all unlimited data at full speed: 2 weeks at $13.99 and 30 days at $26.99. You pay once, nothing renews, and there is no app.
It is not for everyone. There are no buckets, no 3-day plan, no 7-day plan and no phone number, and calls go over apps that use data. If you want a fixed bucket that lasts 30 days, Airalo sells it. For two weeks or a month of unlimited data at full speed, Ringo Light is the cheapest of the three.
Every brand we price for Czechia is in the full comparison at /blog/best-esim-for-czechia, all on the same day. The card to buy Ringo Light is further up this page, after the side-by-side table.
