The short answer
Nomad is cheaper on the short plans: $11 against $11.90 for 3 days and $25 against $27.50 for a week. Past that only Holafly has a plan to sell, at $50.50 for 15 days and $73.90 for 30, because Nomad has no 15-day plan (its nearest is 10 days at $33) and no 30-day unlimited. Ringo Light, our third option, is unlimited data at full speed, priced at $13.99 for 2 weeks and $26.99 for 30 days, and it sells no 3-day or 7-day plan.
Unlimited data at full speed: $13.99 for 2 weeks and $26.99 for 30 days. One payment, nothing renews, no app. There is no 3-day or 7-day plan and no bucket.
$11.90 for 3 days, $27.50 for a week, $50.50 for 15 days and $73.90 for 30 days, sold in days with no buckets. Your own phone has no stated cap; sharing stops at 1 GB a day. It rides O2 and Vodafone and installs from a QR code.

The prices, charted

The 30-day plan at each brand. Nomad has no 30-day unlimited, so it has no bar here. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed.
Holafly sells no buckets, so it has no bar here. Ringo Light sells no bucket either: its 2 weeks is unlimited, and lasts 2 weeks, not 30 days. For a fixed 10 GB, Nomad is the only one of the two that sells it.

Holafly vs Nomad in one paragraph
Nomad is cheaper than Holafly on both unlimited lengths they share, by $0.90 on 3 days and $2.50 on a week. Only Holafly sells 15 days at $50.50 or 30 days at $73.90, so we leave those lengths out of the price comparison: Nomad has no 30-day unlimited and its nearest to 15 days is 10 days at $33. Only Nomad sells buckets here, 10 GB at $16 and 20 GB at $20. Holafly states no daily cap for your own phone and limits sharing to 1 GB a day; Nomad gives 2 GB a day at full speed, then 1 Mbps. For two weeks or a month of unlimited, neither is the cheapest: Ringo Light is $13.99 and $26.99, unlimited data at full speed.
Price: the same trip at each
Prices are in US dollars, taken on 28 September 2026. On the short plans Nomad wins. Three days is $11 against $11.90, a gap of $0.90, and a week is $25 against $27.50, a gap of $2.50. Holafly's 15 days at $50.50 and 30 days at $73.90 have no Nomad equivalent, so we leave those two lengths out rather than compare unlike plans.
Ringo Light is cheaper than the rivals on both lengths it sells. Two weeks is $13.99, less than one week at either brand ($27.50 at Holafly, $25 at Nomad) and less than Holafly's 15 days at $50.50, with a week to spare. Thirty days is $26.99, against $73.90 at Holafly. There is no 3-day plan, so for a long weekend a brand that sells one is the buy.
Only Nomad sells a fixed amount of data here: 10 GB for 30 days at $16 and 20 GB at $20. Holafly sells days, not gigabytes, and Ringo Light has no buckets either. Our 2 weeks at $13.99 is less than Nomad's 10 GB, but it is unlimited data at full speed and ends after 2 weeks, not 30 days. For 20 GB that lasts a month, Nomad at $20 is cheaper than our 30 days at $26.99. We would rather you read that here than at checkout.
What unlimited means at each
Holafly's unlimited for Czechia states no cap for your own phone and limits sharing to 1 GB a day, so a daily laptop user hits a ceiling there. Nomad's gives 2 GB a day at full speed and then 1 Mbps, which suits maps, messages and photos better than a long evening of HD streaming. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole trip, whichever length you pick. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in Czechia
Czechia has three networks: O2, T-Mobile and Vodafone, and none of the brands here names T-Mobile. All three cover Prague, the other cities and the main rail and road routes well, with 5G in the cities. Coverage thins in the border mountains and forests, and Holafly names the Krkonose, Sumava and Bohemian Switzerland on its own page. Holafly lists O2 and Vodafone, and Nomad lists O2 and Vodafone. Ringo Light uses a local partner network.
Czechia is in the EU but keeps its own money, the koruna. A home plan from an EU country usually roams there at home prices, so you may not need a travel eSIM at all. A Czechia plan stops at the border, so for a trip that goes on to Vienna, Dresden or Krakow a Europe plan is the better buy.
Installation and app
Holafly sends a QR code to scan in your phone's settings, with no app. Nomad's app is optional. Ringo Light needs no app: the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan. Whichever you pick, install at home before you fly and switch on data when you land.
The cheaper third option: Ringo Light
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM. For Czechia it sells two trips, all unlimited data at full speed: 2 weeks at $13.99 and 30 days at $26.99. You pay once, nothing renews, and there is no app.
It is not for everyone. There are no buckets, no 3-day plan, no 7-day plan and no phone number, and calls go over apps that use data. If you want a fixed bucket that lasts 30 days, Nomad sells it. For two weeks or a month of unlimited data at full speed, Ringo Light is the cheapest of the three.
Every brand we price for Czechia is in the full comparison at /blog/best-esim-for-czechia, all on the same day. The card to buy Ringo Light is further up this page, after the side-by-side table.
