The short answer
Nomad is cheaper on the short plans: $11 against $11.50 for 3 days and $25 against $26.50 for a week. Past that only Airalo has a plan to sell, at $48 for 15 days and $69 for 30, because Nomad has no 15-day plan (its nearest is 10 days at $33) and no 30-day unlimited. Ringo Light, our third option, is unlimited data at full speed, priced at $13.99 for 2 weeks and $26.99 for 30 days, and it sells no 3-day or 7-day plan.
Unlimited data at full speed: $13.99 for 2 weeks and $26.99 for 30 days. One payment, nothing renews, no app. There is no 3-day or 7-day plan and no bucket.

Airalo vs Nomad in one paragraph
Nomad is cheaper than Airalo on both unlimited lengths they share, by $0.50 on 3 days and $1.50 on a week. Only Airalo sells 15 days at $48 or 30 days at $69, so we leave those lengths out of the price comparison: Nomad has no 30-day unlimited and its nearest to 15 days is 10 days at $33. Buckets split: Airalo is cheaper for 10 GB ($15 against $16) and Nomad for 20 GB ($20 against $24). Airalo gives 3 GB a day at full speed, then 1 Mbps; Nomad gives 2 GB a day at full speed, then 1 Mbps. For two weeks or a month of unlimited, neither is the cheapest: Ringo Light is $13.99 and $26.99, unlimited data at full speed.
Price: the same trip at each
Prices are in US dollars, taken on 28 September 2026. On the short plans Nomad wins. Three days is $11 against $11.50, a gap of $0.50, and a week is $25 against $26.50, a gap of $1.50. Airalo's 15 days at $48 and 30 days at $69 have no Nomad equivalent, so we leave those two lengths out rather than compare unlike plans.
Ringo Light is cheaper than the rivals on both lengths it sells. Two weeks is $13.99, less than one week at either brand ($26.50 at Airalo, $25 at Nomad) and less than Airalo's 15 days at $48, with a week to spare. Thirty days is $26.99, against $69 at Airalo. There is no 3-day plan, so for a long weekend a brand that sells one is the buy.
Both brands sell buckets. Airalo has 10 GB for 30 days at $15 and 20 GB at $24; Nomad has 10 GB at $16 and 20 GB at $20. Ringo Light has none. Our 2 weeks at $13.99 is less than either 10 GB bucket, but it is unlimited data at full speed and ends after 2 weeks. For 20 GB that lasts a month, Airalo at $24 and Nomad at $20 are both cheaper than our 30 days at $26.99. We would rather you read that here than at checkout.
What unlimited means at each
Airalo's unlimited for Czechia, the Prosim plan, gives 3 GB a day at full speed and then 1 Mbps. Nomad's gives 2 GB a day at full speed and then 1 Mbps. Either is fine for maps, messages and photos; a long evening of HD streaming or a laptop on the hotspot is where the daily limit shows. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole trip. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in Czechia
Czechia has three networks: O2, T-Mobile and Vodafone, and none of the brands here names T-Mobile. All three cover Prague, the other cities and the main rail and road routes well, with 5G in the cities. Coverage thins in the border mountains and forests, and Holafly names the Krkonose, Sumava and Bohemian Switzerland on its own page. Airalo and Nomad both list O2 and Vodafone. Ringo Light uses a local partner network.
Czechia is in the EU but keeps its own money, the koruna. A home plan from an EU country usually roams there at home prices, so you may not need a travel eSIM at all. A Czechia plan stops at the border, so for a trip that goes on to Vienna, Dresden or Krakow a Europe plan is the better buy.
Installation and app
Airalo needs its app, where you buy and install. Nomad's app is optional. Ringo Light needs no app: the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan. Whichever you pick, install at home before you fly and switch on data when you land.
The cheaper third option: Ringo Light
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM. For Czechia it sells two trips, all unlimited data at full speed: 2 weeks at $13.99 and 30 days at $26.99. You pay once, nothing renews, and there is no app.
It is not for everyone. There are no buckets, no 3-day plan, no 7-day plan and no phone number, and calls go over apps that use data. If you want a fixed bucket that lasts 30 days, Airalo and Nomad sell it. For two weeks or a month of unlimited data at full speed, Ringo Light is the cheapest of the three.
Every brand we price for Czechia is in the full comparison at /blog/best-esim-for-czechia, all on the same day. The card to buy Ringo Light is further up this page, after the side-by-side table.
