The short answer
Airalo is the eSIM most people already know for Czechia, but Ringo Light is cheaper for unlimited at every length it sells: $13.99 for 2 weeks against $48 for 15 days, and $26.99 against $69 for a month. Airalo wins where Ringo Light sells nothing: a 3-day plan, a 7-day plan, buckets from $4 for 1 GB, a named network and an app that shows your balance. Its 20 GB for 30 days at $24 is $2.99 under our 30 days.
Unlimited data at full speed for 2 weeks at $13.99 or 30 days at $26.99. Nothing renews and there is no app. Airalo asks $26.50 for a week, $48 for 15 days and $69 for the month.
1 GB from $4, 10 GB for 30 days at $15 and 20 GB at $24. The Prosim plan rides O2 and Vodafone. Unlimited is $11.50 for 3 days and $26.50 for a week. You buy and install inside the app, and Ringo Light has none of that.

Airalo vs Ringo Light in one paragraph
Ringo Light is cheaper than Airalo for unlimited at every length it sells. Two weeks is $13.99, against $48 for 15 days at Airalo and $26.50 for one week. A month is $26.99 against $69. It is also unlimited data at full speed, where Airalo slows to 1 Mbps after 3 GB a day. Airalo wins on what Ringo Light does not sell: a 3-day plan, a 7-day plan, buckets from $4 for 1 GB, a named network and an app, and its 20 GB for 30 days at $24 is $2.99 under our 30 days. Pick Ringo Light for unlimited at two weeks or a month, and Airalo for a bucket that lasts 30 days, a short plan, a named network or the app.
Price: the same trip at each
Prices are in US dollars, taken on 28 September 2026. We sell no 3-day plan, and Airalo asks $11.50 for 3 days, so for a long weekend Airalo is the buy. Airalo's week is $26.50, and we sell no 7-day plan, but our 2 weeks at $13.99 is less than that week and leaves a week over. For 15 days Airalo asks $48, against $13.99 for our 2 weeks. A month is $69 against $26.99.
Only Airalo sells a fixed amount of data: 1 GB from $4, 10 GB for 30 days at $15 and 20 GB at $24. Our 2 weeks of unlimited at $13.99 is $1.01 less than Airalo's 10 GB, though it ends after 2 weeks, not 30. Airalo's 20 GB at $24 is $2.99 under our 30 days at $26.99, so for 20 GB that lasts a month Airalo is the cheaper buy. If you need a little data to last a month, Airalo's 10 GB fits better, and we would rather you read that here than at checkout.
The 2-week chart sets Ringo Light's 2 weeks against Airalo's 15 days, because the two sell slightly different lengths. The month chart is like for like.
What unlimited means at each
Airalo's unlimited for Czechia, the Prosim plan, gives 3 GB a day at full speed and then slows to 1 Mbps until the next day. That covers maps, messages, photos and an hour or two of video. A long evening of HD streaming will hit it, and a laptop on the hotspot will hit it sooner. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 2 weeks or 30 days, with no daily figure. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in Czechia
Czechia has three networks: O2, T-Mobile and Vodafone, and none of the brands here names T-Mobile. All three cover Prague, the other cities and the main rail and road routes well, with 5G in the cities. Coverage thins in the border mountains and forests, and Holafly names the Krkonose, Sumava and Bohemian Switzerland on its own page. Airalo lists O2 and Vodafone, which counts for something: you know the networks before you buy. Ringo Light does not name one and uses a local partner network.
Czechia is in the EU but keeps its own money, the koruna. A home plan from an EU country usually roams there at home prices, so you may not need a travel eSIM at all. A Czechia plan stops at the border, so for a trip that goes on to Vienna, Dresden or Krakow a Europe plan is the better buy.
Installation and app
Airalo needs its app. You buy and install inside it, and you see what is left there. Ringo Light needs no app: the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan of the QR code. With no bucket there is no balance to watch. Either way, install at home on Wi-Fi and switch on data when you land.
What Ringo Light is, and what it is not
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM. For Czechia it sells two trips, both unlimited data at full speed: 2 weeks at $13.99 and 30 days at $26.99. You pay once, nothing renews, and there is no app.
What it is not: it is data only and has no phone number, so calls go over apps that use data. It has no buckets, no 3-day plan and no 7-day plan, and it names no network. There is no balance screen either, because there is nothing to count. If you want 10 GB to last a month, a short plan or a named network, Airalo is the better buy. For unlimited at two weeks or a month, Ringo Light is the cheaper of the two by a wide margin.
