Airalo vs Holafly in one paragraph
Airalo is cheaper than Holafly for Guadeloupe at every length both sell, though by little: 40 cents for 3 days, 50 cents for a week, $1.50 for 15 days and 40 cents for a month. Both ride Digicel. Holafly gives you the simpler product: unlimited days with no stated daily cap, installed from a QR code with no app. Airalo gives you more choice, buckets of 5, 10 and 20 GB as well as unlimited, but its unlimited slows to 1 Mbps after 3 GB a day, and you need its app. Pick Airalo if you want a bucket or the lowest price of the two. Pick Holafly if you stream all evening and never want to think about a daily cap. If the trip is two weeks or a month and you want unlimited, neither is the cheapest: Ringo Light sells 2 weeks at $21.99 and 30 days at $35.99, unlimited data at full speed.
Price: the same trip at each
Priced on 28 September 2026, in US dollars. For 3 days of unlimited, $11.50 at Airalo and $11.90 at Holafly. For a week, $27 at Airalo and $27.50 at Holafly. For 15 days, $49 at Airalo and $50.50 at Holafly. For 30 days, $73.50 at Airalo and $73.90 at Holafly. Airalo wins every row, but never by more than $1.50.
Ringo Light sells two trips for Guadeloupe: 2 weeks at $21.99 and 30 days at $35.99. The 2 weeks costs $27.01 less than Airalo's 15 days and $28.51 less than Holafly's. It also costs $5.01 less than Airalo's 7 days and $5.51 less than Holafly's, with a week of days left over. The 30 days costs $37.51 less than Airalo's month and $37.91 less than Holafly's. Ringo Light sells no 3-day plan: for a long weekend, Airalo at $11.50 or Holafly at $11.90 is the cheaper buy.
For a fixed amount of data, Airalo is the only one of the three that sells it: 5 GB for 30 days at $13.50, 10 GB at $23.50, 20 GB at $37. Holafly sells no buckets. Ringo Light sells none either. If 5 GB is all you need, Airalo is cheaper than anything we sell. Our 2 weeks at $21.99 is $1.51 under Airalo's 10 GB but lasts 2 weeks, not 30 days, and our 30 days at $35.99 is $1.01 under Airalo's 20 GB. We would rather you read that here than at checkout.
What unlimited means at each
Airalo's unlimited for Guadeloupe gives 3 GB a day at full speed, then slows to 1 Mbps for the rest of the day. That is enough for maps, messages and an hour or two of video; a long evening of streaming in HD will hit it. Holafly states no daily cap for your own phone and limits hotspot sharing to 1 GB a day, so Holafly is the one to pick between the two if you refuse any cap on your own screen. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 2 weeks or 30 days. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in Guadeloupe
Guadeloupe is shaped like a butterfly. Grande-Terre, the flat eastern wing, has Pointe-à-Pitre, the airport and most of the beach towns. Basse-Terre, the western wing, is mountain and rainforest around La Soufrière. Les Saintes, Marie-Galante and La Désirade lie offshore and are reached by ferry. Orange, SFR Caraïbe and Digicel cover the towns and the coast roads of both wings well. Airalo rides Digicel, Holafly rides Digicel, and Ringo Light rides a local partner network.
Away from the coast it is patchier. Holafly's own page names parts of the national park, the area around La Soufrière, Les Saintes, Marie-Galante, La Désirade and the boat crossings as places where coverage may be limited or unstable. No travel eSIM changes that. Download offline maps of Basse-Terre before a hike, and save ferry tickets on the phone before you board.
Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin were part of Guadeloupe until 2007 and are separate territories now. A Guadeloupe plan, ours included, does not cover them; check before you fly on.
Installation, app and support
Airalo needs its app, where you buy, install and top up. Holafly needs no app, it sends a QR code you scan in your phone's settings. Ringo Light needs no app either; the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, and support is by email. Whichever you pick, install it at home before you fly and switch it on for data when you land at Pointe-à-Pitre.
The cheaper third option: Ringo Light
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM. For Guadeloupe it sells two trips, both unlimited data at full speed: 2 weeks at $21.99 and 30 days at $35.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app. It covers Guadeloupe only, not Martinique, Dominica, Saint-Barthélemy or Saint-Martin.
What it does not do: no buckets, no 3-day or 7-day plan, no phone number, data only. Calls go over apps that use data. If you want 5 GB for a month, Airalo at $13.50 is the better buy. If you want 3 days, Airalo at $11.50 or Holafly at $11.90 is cheaper than anything we sell. For two weeks or a month of unlimited, Ringo Light is the cheapest of the three, and our 2 weeks at $21.99 costs less than either brand's 7 days.

We compare the trips people actually book: a week, two weeks and a month of unlimited data, and a 10 GB bucket. We read each brand's fair use and speed rules and quote them as the brands state them. We did not run speed tests, so this page makes no speed claims for any brand.
Ringo Light is our own product. We put it in the table on the same terms as everyone else, and where a rival is the better buy the page says so.
Left out: Saily, Nomad and Ubigi. They sell Guadeloupe too and are priced on the same day in the full comparison at /blog/best-esim-for-guadeloupe. This page answers one question, Airalo or Holafly, so it keeps to those two and the cheaper third option. Left out: Maya Mobile. The Guadeloupe comparison does not carry its prices, so it stays out rather than being guessed.
