The short answer
Airalo is the travel eSIM most people already know for Guadeloupe. Ringo Light is cheaper for unlimited at the lengths it sells: $21.99 for 2 weeks against $27 for one week at Airalo, $35.99 against $73.50 for a month. Airalo wins where Ringo Light sells nothing: 3 days of unlimited at $11.50, data buckets from $13.50 for 5 GB, a named network, Digicel, and an app that shows your balance and tops you up.

Airalo vs Ringo Light in one paragraph
For unlimited data in Guadeloupe, Ringo Light is cheaper than Airalo at the two lengths it sells, and not by a little. Its 2 weeks of unlimited at $21.99 costs $1.51 less than Airalo's 10 GB, but lasts 2 weeks, not 30 days. Its month at $35.99 costs $1.01 less than Airalo's 20 GB for the same 30 days, and is unlimited. If you need 5 GB for a trip, Airalo at $13.50 is the better buy, and we would rather you read that here than at checkout.
The charts carry Ringo Light's 2 weeks against Airalo's 15 days, as the full comparison does, because Ringo Light sells 2 weeks, not 15 days. The month chart is like for like, 30 days at each.
What unlimited means at each
Airalo's unlimited for Guadeloupe gives 3 GB a day at full speed, then slows to 1 Mbps until the next day. That is enough for maps, messages, photos and an hour or two of video; a long evening of streaming in HD will hit it, and a laptop on the hotspot will hit it sooner. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 2 weeks or 30 days, with no daily figure. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in Guadeloupe
Guadeloupe is shaped like a butterfly. Grande-Terre, the flat eastern wing, has Pointe-à-Pitre, the airport and most of the beach towns. Basse-Terre, the western wing, is mountain and rainforest around La Soufrière. Les Saintes, Marie-Galante and La Désirade lie offshore and are reached by ferry. Orange, SFR Caraïbe and Digicel cover the towns and the coast roads of both wings well. Airalo rides Digicel, and Ringo Light rides a local partner network.
Away from the coast it is patchier. Holafly's own page names parts of the national park, the area around La Soufrière, Les Saintes, Marie-Galante, La Désirade and the boat crossings as places where coverage may be limited or unstable. No travel eSIM changes that. Download offline maps of Basse-Terre before a hike, and save ferry tickets on the phone before you board.
Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin were part of Guadeloupe until 2007 and are separate territories now. A Guadeloupe plan, ours included, does not cover them; check before you fly on.
Installation, app and support
Airalo needs its app, where you buy, install and top up. Ringo Light needs no app either; the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, and support is by email. Whichever you pick, install it at home before you fly and switch it on for data when you land at Pointe-à-Pitre.
What Ringo Light is, and what it is not
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM. For Guadeloupe it sells two trips, both unlimited data at full speed: 2 weeks at $21.99 and 30 days at $35.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app. It covers Guadeloupe only, not Martinique, Dominica, Saint-Barthélemy or Saint-Martin.
What it does not do: no 3-day or 7-day plan, no buckets, no phone number, data only. It names no network. There is no app and no balance screen, because there is nothing to count. If you want 3 days, 5 GB, or 10 GB to last a month, Airalo is the better buy. For unlimited at two weeks or a month, Ringo Light is the cheaper of the two by a wide margin.
