Holafly vs Nomad in one paragraph
Holafly and Nomad are opposites. Holafly sells unlimited days only: 3 days at $11.90, a week at $27.50, 15 days at $50.50 and 30 days at $73.90, with no stated daily cap and no app, on Digicel. Nomad sells buckets only, on Orange: 5 GB at $15, 10 GB at $19 and 20 GB at $29, each for 30 days, with an optional app, and no unlimited for Guadeloupe. Nomad's 20 GB at $29 costs $44.90 less than Holafly's month, but it is a fixed amount. Pick Nomad if you know roughly how much data you need and want to pay least for it. Pick Holafly if you want no bucket to watch, whether for 3 days or a month. If you want unlimited for two weeks or a month, neither is the cheapest: Ringo Light sells 2 weeks at $21.99 and 30 days at $35.99, unlimited data at full speed.
Price: the same trip at each
Priced on 28 September 2026, in US dollars. Holafly asks $11.90 for 3 days, $27.50 for a week, $50.50 for 15 days and $73.90 for 30 days of unlimited. Nomad sells no unlimited for Guadeloupe; it asks $15 for 5 GB, $19 for 10 GB and $29 for 20 GB, each for 30 days. Holafly sells no buckets, so the two never meet on the same product.
The nearest comparison is a month. Holafly's 30 days of unlimited is $73.90; Nomad's 20 GB is $29, which is $44.90 less for a fixed amount.
Ringo Light sells two trips for Guadeloupe: 2 weeks at $21.99 and 30 days at $35.99. The 2 weeks costs $28.51 less than Holafly's 15 days and $5.51 less than its 7 days, with a week of days left over. The 30 days costs $37.91 less than Holafly's month. Against Nomad's buckets we are dearer, and we say so: our 2 weeks at $21.99 is $2.99 more than Nomad's 10 GB, and our 30 days at $35.99 is $6.99 more than Nomad's 20 GB for the same 30 days. Ringo Light sells no 3-day plan: for 3 days, Holafly at $11.90 is cheaper than anything we sell. We would rather you read that here than at checkout.
What unlimited means at each
Holafly states no daily cap for data on your own phone and limits hotspot sharing to 1 GB a day. Nomad sells no unlimited for Guadeloupe: its limit is the bucket, 5, 10 or 20 GB, and when it runs out the data stops until you buy more. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 2 weeks or 30 days. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in Guadeloupe
Guadeloupe is shaped like a butterfly. Grande-Terre, the flat eastern wing, has Pointe-à-Pitre, the airport and most of the beach towns. Basse-Terre, the western wing, is mountain and rainforest around La Soufrière. Les Saintes, Marie-Galante and La Désirade lie offshore and are reached by ferry. Orange, SFR Caraïbe and Digicel cover the towns and the coast roads of both wings well. Holafly rides Digicel, Nomad names Orange, and Ringo Light rides a local partner network.
Away from the coast it is patchier. Holafly's own page names parts of the national park, the area around La Soufrière, Les Saintes, Marie-Galante, La Désirade and the boat crossings as places where coverage may be limited or unstable. No travel eSIM changes that. Download offline maps of Basse-Terre before a hike, and save ferry tickets on the phone before you board.
Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin were part of Guadeloupe until 2007 and are separate territories now. A Guadeloupe plan, ours included, does not cover them; check before you fly on.
Installation, app and support
Holafly needs no app, it sends a QR code you scan in your phone's settings. Nomad's app is optional. Ringo Light needs no app either; the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, and support is by email. Whichever you pick, install it at home before you fly and switch it on for data when you land at Pointe-à-Pitre.
The cheaper third option: Ringo Light
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM. For Guadeloupe it sells two trips, both unlimited data at full speed: 2 weeks at $21.99 and 30 days at $35.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app. It covers Guadeloupe only, not Martinique, Dominica, Saint-Barthélemy or Saint-Martin.
What it does not do: no buckets, no 3-day or 7-day plan, no phone number, data only. Calls go over apps that use data. If you want 10 GB or 20 GB that lasts a month, Nomad at $19 and $29 is the better buy. If you want 3 days, Holafly at $11.90 is cheaper than anything we sell. For two weeks or a month of unlimited, Ringo Light is the cheapest of the three, and Nomad sells no unlimited at all.

How we compared, and our sources
Holafly, Nomad, Ringo Light
We priced Holafly, Nomad and Ringo Light for Guadeloupe on 28 September 2026, all on the same day, in US dollars. Each rival's price comes from its own website where it showed dollars, otherwise from an esimdb.com listing, and every source and its date is listed below. Ringo Light's prices come from the catalogue our checkout charges.
We compare the trips people actually book: a week, two weeks and a month of unlimited data, and a 10 GB bucket. We read each brand's fair use and speed rules and quote them as the brands state them. We did not run speed tests, so this page makes no speed claims for any brand.
Ringo Light is our own product. We put it in the table on the same terms as everyone else, and where a rival is the better buy the page says so.
Left out: Airalo, Saily and Ubigi. They sell Guadeloupe too and are priced on the same day in the full comparison at /blog/best-esim-for-guadeloupe. This page answers one question, Holafly or Nomad, so it keeps to those two and the cheaper third option. Left out: Maya Mobile. The Guadeloupe comparison does not carry its prices, so it stays out rather than being guessed.
