Holafly vs Saily for Guadeloupe in 2026.

Holafly vs Saily in one paragraph

Holafly and Saily sell different things for Guadeloupe. Holafly sells unlimited days only: 3 days at $11.90, a week at $27.50, 15 days at $50.50 and 30 days at $73.90, with no stated daily cap, installed from a QR code with no app, on Digicel. Saily sells buckets, and no unlimited for Guadeloupe: 5 GB at $12.99, 10 GB at $22.99 and 20 GB at $36.99, plus a Global plan for a month at $59.99, which is $13.91 below Holafly's month but gives 30 GB at full speed, then 1 Mbps. Saily needs its app and its listing names no network. Its prices come from a June listing, because saily.com refused the fetch, so check them at checkout. Pick Holafly for unlimited days or a 3-day trip. Pick Saily for a bucket. If you want unlimited for two weeks or a month, neither is the cheapest: Ringo Light sells 2 weeks at $21.99 and 30 days at $35.99, unlimited data at full speed.

Price: the same trip at each

Ringo Light sells two trips for Guadeloupe: 2 weeks at $21.99 and 30 days at $35.99. The 2 weeks costs $28.51 less than Holafly's 15 days and $5.51 less than its 7 days, with a week of days left over. It is $1.00 less than Saily's 10 GB, which lasts 30 days where ours lasts 2 weeks. The 30 days costs $37.91 less than Holafly's month and $24.00 less than Saily's Global month. Ringo Light sells no 3-day plan and no buckets: for 3 days, Holafly at $11.90 is cheaper than anything we sell, and for 5 GB, Saily at $12.99 is. We would rather you read that here than at checkout.

What unlimited means at each

Holafly states no daily cap for data on your own phone and limits hotspot sharing to 1 GB a day. Saily sells no unlimited for Guadeloupe; its Global plan gives 30 GB over 30 days at full speed, then 1 Mbps, and its buckets stop when they run out. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 2 weeks or 30 days. Fair use policy, see Terms.

Networks and coverage in Guadeloupe

Guadeloupe is shaped like a butterfly. Grande-Terre, the flat eastern wing, has Pointe-à-Pitre, the airport and most of the beach towns. Basse-Terre, the western wing, is mountain and rainforest around La Soufrière. Les Saintes, Marie-Galante and La Désirade lie offshore and are reached by ferry. Orange, SFR Caraïbe and Digicel cover the towns and the coast roads of both wings well. Holafly rides Digicel, Saily does not name its network on its listing, and Ringo Light rides a local partner network.

Away from the coast it is patchier. Holafly's own page names parts of the national park, the area around La Soufrière, Les Saintes, Marie-Galante, La Désirade and the boat crossings as places where coverage may be limited or unstable. No travel eSIM changes that. Download offline maps of Basse-Terre before a hike, and save ferry tickets on the phone before you board.

Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin were part of Guadeloupe until 2007 and are separate territories now. A Guadeloupe plan, ours included, does not cover them; check before you fly on.

Installation, app and support

Holafly needs no app, it sends a QR code you scan in your phone's settings. Saily needs its app. Ringo Light needs no app either; the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, and support is by email. Whichever you pick, install it at home before you fly and switch it on for data when you land at Pointe-à-Pitre.

The cheaper third option: Ringo Light

Ringo Light is our own data eSIM. For Guadeloupe it sells two trips, both unlimited data at full speed: 2 weeks at $21.99 and 30 days at $35.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app. It covers Guadeloupe only, not Martinique, Dominica, Saint-Barthélemy or Saint-Martin.

What it does not do: no buckets, no 3-day or 7-day plan, no phone number, data only. Calls go over apps that use data. If you want 5 GB, 10 GB or 20 GB, Saily is the one of the two that sells them, and at 5 GB, $12.99, it is cheaper than anything we sell. If you want 3 days, Holafly at $11.90 is cheaper than us. For two weeks or a month of unlimited, Ringo Light is the cheapest of the three.
