The prices, charted
US dollars, 28 September 2026. Ringo Light sells 2 weeks; Airalo's is its Discover global plan for 15 days, because its Moldova plan stops at 10 days. Saily sells no 15-day plan, so it has no bar here. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed.
The 30-day plan at each brand. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed. Saily's is its Global plan (listing from June), not a Moldova plan; Airalo's is its Discover global plan, because it sells no Moldova plan for 30 days.
Ringo Light sells no bucket: its 2 weeks is unlimited and lasts 2 weeks, not 30 days. For a fixed 10 GB lasting a month, Saily is one cent cheaper than Airalo. Saily's price is from its June listing.

Airalo vs Saily in one paragraph
For a fixed amount of data the two are level: Saily asks $29.49 for 10 GB over 30 days and Airalo $29.50, one cent apart. Airalo also sells a 20 GB bucket at $49, which Saily does not for Moldova, and 1 GB from $4.50. For unlimited the two differ. Airalo sells Moldova unlimited for 3 days at $12.50, a week at $29.50 and 10 days at $35, on Orange, with 3 GB a day at full speed and then 1 Mbps. Saily sells no Moldova-only unlimited. For a month, Saily's Global plan is $59.99 and Airalo's Discover global plan $159, a gap of $99.01, but neither is a Moldova plan, and Saily's listing does not state its speed rule or name its network. Both need their app. Pick Airalo for a short unlimited trip or a 20 GB bucket. Pick Saily if you want a month on a global plan, after checking saily.com, because our figure is from June. If the trip is two weeks or a month and you want unlimited, Ringo Light sells 2 weeks at $22.99 and 30 days at $45.99, unlimited data at full speed.
Price: the same trip at each
Priced on 28 September 2026 in US dollars, except Saily, which is from the esimdb listing dated 12 June 2026 because saily.com refused the fetch. For 10 GB over 30 days, $29.50 at Airalo and $29.49 at Saily. For 20 GB, $49 at Airalo; Saily has no local 20 GB. For 3 days, a week and 15 days, Saily sells no plan; Airalo sells 3 days at $12.50, 7 days at $29.50 and, on its Discover global plan, 15 days at $96. For 30 days, $159 at Airalo and $59.99 at Saily, both on global plans.
Ringo Light sells two trips for Moldova: 2 weeks at $22.99 and 30 days at $45.99. The 2 weeks costs $6.51 less than Airalo's 7 days at $29.50 and less than a quarter of its 15 days on the global plan at $96. The 30 days costs $14.00 less than Saily's Global plan at $59.99 and $113.01 less than Airalo's at $159. Ringo Light sells no 3-day plan: for a long weekend, Airalo at $12.50 is the cheaper buy.
For a fixed amount of data, Ringo Light sells no buckets. If you want 10 GB to last a month, Saily at $29.49 or Airalo at $29.50 is the one to buy; our 2 weeks of unlimited is $22.99 but ends after 2 weeks. We would rather you read that here than at checkout.
What unlimited means at each
Airalo's unlimited for Moldova gives 3 GB a day at full speed, then slows to 1 Mbps for the rest of the day. That is enough for maps, messages and an hour or two of video; a long evening of streaming will hit it. Saily's listing does not state its rule, so we cannot tell you what its Global plan does after a heavy day; read saily.com before you buy. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 2 weeks or 30 days. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in Moldova
Moldova has three networks: Orange, Moldcell and Moldtelecom, which sells mobile under the Unite name. Orange is the biggest, and Airalo rides it. Saily does not name its network on its listing. Ringo Light rides a local partner network. All three networks cover Chisinau, the towns and the main roads; in the river valleys around Orheiul Vechi, Saharna and Tipova, signal can thin on any of them.
Since 1 January 2026, Moldova has been part of the EU's roam like at home area, so a phone plan from an EU country works there within its normal allowance. Visitors from the UK, the US and elsewhere still pay their own roaming rates.
Installation, app and support
Airalo and Saily both need their app: you buy, install and top up inside it, and that is also where support lives. Ringo Light needs no app; the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, and support is by email. Whichever you pick, install it at home before you fly and switch it on for data when you land in Chisinau.
The cheaper third option: Ringo Light
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM. For Moldova it sells two trips, both unlimited data at full speed: 2 weeks at $22.99 and 30 days at $45.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.
What it does not do: no buckets, no 3-day or 7-day plan, no phone number, data only. Calls go over apps that use data. If you want 10 GB for a month, Saily at $29.49 or Airalo at $29.50 is the better buy, and Airalo's 20 GB at $49 is a bucket we do not sell. If you want 3 days, Airalo at $12.50 is cheaper than anything we sell. For two weeks or a month of unlimited, Ringo Light is the cheapest of the three.
