Holafly vs Saily in one paragraph
Saily is cheaper than Holafly for Croatia at every length both sell, but only just: by $1.51 on 15 days and $1.91 on 30 days. Holafly is the only one of the two with a 3-day plan at $11.90 and a 7-day plan at $27.50. Holafly gives you the simpler product: unlimited days with no stated daily cap, installed from a QR code with no app, on Telemach and A1. Saily gives you buckets of 10 GB at $17.99 and 20 GB at $27.99 as well as unlimited, but its unlimited slows to 1 Mbps after 5 GB a day and you need its app. One caution: every Saily price here comes from an esimdb listing dated 14 June 2026, because we could not read saily.com on the day. Pick Saily if you want a bucket. Pick Holafly for a short trip, or if you never want to think about a daily cap. If the trip is two weeks or a month and you want unlimited, neither is the cheapest: Ringo Light sells 2 weeks at $16.99 and 30 days at $26.99, unlimited data at full speed.
Price: the same trip at each
Priced on 28 September 2026, in US dollars. For 3 days, only Holafly sells it, at $11.90; Saily sells no such plan. For a week, only Holafly sells it, at $27.50; Saily sells no such plan. For 15 days of unlimited, $50.50 at Holafly and $48.99 at Saily, so Saily is cheaper by $1.51. For 30 days of unlimited, $73.90 at Holafly and $71.99 at Saily, so Saily is cheaper by $1.91.
Ringo Light sells two trips for Croatia: 2 weeks at $16.99 and 30 days at $26.99, both unlimited data at full speed. The 2 weeks costs $32 less than the cheapest 15 days here ($48.99) and $33.51 less than the other ($50.50). It also costs less than Holafly's 7 days, from $27.50, with a week of days left over. The 30 days at $26.99 is $45 below the cheapest 30-day unlimited here, $71.99. Ringo Light sells no 3-day plan: for a long weekend, Holafly at $11.90 is the cheaper buy.
For a fixed amount of data, Saily is the only one of the three that sells it: 10 GB for 30 days at $17.99, 20 GB at $27.99. Holafly sells no buckets. Ringo Light sells no buckets either. If 10 GB is all you need and it must last a month, Saily is the better buy, and we would rather you read that here than at checkout.
One caveat on Saily: every Saily price here comes from the esimdb listing dated 14 June 2026, because we could not read saily.com on the day. Check the price at checkout before you rely on it.
What unlimited means at each
Holafly states no daily cap for your own phone and limits hotspot sharing to 1 GB a day. Saily's unlimited for Croatia gives 5 GB a day at full speed, then 1 Mbps. A cap of a few gigabytes a day is enough for maps, messages and photos on a normal day; a long evening of video or a laptop on the hotspot will hit it sooner. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 2 weeks or 30 days, with no daily figure. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in Croatia
Croatia has three networks: Hrvatski Telekom, A1 and Telemach. All three cover the cities, the coast road and the big islands like Hvar, Brač and Korčula. Signal thins on the small islands, in the mountains and deep inside the national parks. Holafly: Telemach, A1. Saily: Saily does not name its network on its listing. Ringo Light rides a local partner network. None of the brands in the full comparison names Hrvatski Telekom. The coast between Split and Dubrovnik is cut by a few kilometres of Bosnia and Herzegovina at Neum, and a Croatia plan will not work there; download your map before you leave Split.
Installation, app and support
Holafly needs no app: it sends a QR code you scan in your phone's settings, and support is by chat on its site. Saily needs its app: you buy, install and top up inside it, and that is also where its support chat lives. Ringo Light needs no app; the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, and support is by email. Whichever you pick, install it at home on Wi-Fi and switch it on for data when you land in Split, Dubrovnik or Zagreb.
The cheaper third option: Ringo Light
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM, sold to fund the full Ringo, one plan that works everywhere with your own number ported onto it. For Croatia it sells two trips, both unlimited data at full speed: 2 weeks at $16.99 and 30 days at $26.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.
What it does not do: no buckets, no 3-day or 7-day plan, no phone number, data only. Calls go over apps that use data. If you want 10 GB for a month, Saily at $17.99 is the better buy of these. For two weeks or a month of unlimited, Ringo Light is the cheapest of the three.
