Holafly vs Saily for Denmark in 2026.

Holafly vs Saily in one paragraph

Saily is cheaper than Holafly for Denmark at every length both sell: $26.99 against $27.50 for a week, $48.99 against $50.50 for 15 days and $71.99 against $73.90 for 30 days. Holafly is the only one of the two with a 3-day plan, at $11.90. Holafly gives you the simpler product: unlimited days with no stated daily cap, installed from a QR code with no app, on 3 and Telia. Saily gives you more choice, buckets of 10 GB and 20 GB as well as unlimited, but its unlimited slows after 5 GB a day and you need its app. Pick Saily if you want a bucket or the lower price at any length. Pick Holafly for a 3-day trip, or if you never want to think about a daily cap. If you want unlimited for 3 days, two weeks or a month, neither is the cheapest: Ringo Light sells 3 days at $8.99, 2 weeks at $16.99 and 30 days at $32.99, unlimited data at full speed.

Ringo Light sells three trips for Denmark: 3 days at $8.99, 2 weeks at $16.99 and 30 days at $32.99. The 2 weeks costs less than either brand's 7 days, $27.50 at Holafly and $26.99 at Saily, with a week of days left over, and about a third of their 15 days at $50.50 and $48.99. The 30 days costs less than half of Saily's $71.99 and Holafly's $73.90. For 3 days, $8.99 against $11.90 at Holafly. Ringo Light sells no 7-day plan.

For a fixed amount of data, Saily is the only one of the three that sells it: 10 GB for 30 days at $17.99, 20 GB at $27.99. Holafly sells no buckets. Ringo Light sells no buckets either. Our 2 weeks of unlimited at $16.99 costs $1 less than Saily's 10 GB, but ends after 2 weeks. If you need 20 GB, Saily at $27.99 costs less than our 30 days at $32.99. We would rather you read that here than at checkout.

What unlimited means at each

Saily's unlimited for Denmark gives 5 GB a day at full speed, then slows to 1 Mbps for the rest of the day. That is a generous allowance, enough for maps, messages and several hours of video; a full day of HD streaming or a big download will hit it. Holafly states no daily cap for your own phone and limits hotspot sharing to 1 GB a day, so Holafly is the one to pick between the two if you refuse any cap on your own screen, and Saily is the one with more headroom for sharing to a laptop, up to its 5 GB. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 3 days, 2 weeks or 30 days. Fair use policy, see Terms.

Networks and coverage in Denmark

Denmark's main networks are TDC, Telia, Telenor and 3. The country is small and flat, and all of them cover Copenhagen, Aarhus, Odense, the motorways and the rail lines. Holafly lists 3 and Telia. Saily does not name its network on its listing. Ringo Light rides a local partner network.

A Denmark plan covers Denmark only. On the Oresund Bridge and on the ferry from Helsingor your phone can pick up a Swedish network, which a Denmark plan will not use; if Malmo or Helsingborg is on your list, buy a Europe plan instead.

Installation, app and support

Saily needs its app: you buy, install and top up inside it, and that is also where its support chat lives. Holafly needs no app; it sends a QR code you scan in your phone's settings, and support is by chat on its site. Ringo Light needs no app either; the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, and support is by email. Whichever you pick, install it at home before you fly and switch it on for data when you land at Copenhagen Airport.

The cheaper third option: Ringo Light

Ringo Light is our own data eSIM, sold to fund the full Ringo, one plan that works everywhere with your own number ported onto it. For Denmark it sells three trips, all unlimited data at full speed: 3 days at $8.99, 2 weeks at $16.99 and 30 days at $32.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.

What it does not do: no buckets, no 7-day plan, no phone number, data only. Calls go over apps that use data. If you want 10 GB for a month, Saily at $17.99 is the better buy, and 20 GB at $27.99 costs less than our 30 days. If you want exactly a week, Saily at $26.99 and Holafly at $27.50 both sell one; our 2 weeks at $16.99 costs less than either and lasts twice as long. For 3 days, two weeks or a month of unlimited, Ringo Light is the cheapest of the three.
