Airalo vs Nomad in one paragraph
Airalo is cheaper than Nomad for Israel wherever the two sell the same thing: 10 GB for 30 days is $11.50 at Airalo against $19 at Nomad, a difference of $7.50, and 20 GB is $16.50 against $29, a difference of $12.50. Airalo also sells unlimited days, $12.50 for 3 days, $26.50 for a week, $48 for 15 days and $69 for 30, where Nomad sells no unlimited plan for Israel at all. Nomad's case is its three named networks, Cellcom, Partner and Pelephone, an app that is optional, and a 50 GB bucket at $39. Pick Airalo if you want the lowest price for a bucket, or unlimited days, or an Israeli +972 number on its Annatel+ plans. Pick Nomad if you want Cellcom in the mix and an install without the app. If the trip is two weeks or a month and you want unlimited, Ringo Light sells 2 weeks at $24.99 and 30 days at $35.99, unlimited data at full speed.
Price: the same trip at each
Priced on 25 October 2026, in US dollars. For 10 GB for 30 days, Airalo asks $11.50 and Nomad $19. For 20 GB for 30 days, Airalo asks $16.50 and Nomad $29. Nomad also sells 50 GB for 30 days at $39; the Israel comparison carries no Airalo 50 GB price, so we do not set a figure against it. Airalo is the cheaper of the two on both buckets they share.
For unlimited, only Airalo sells it: $12.50 for 3 days, $26.50 for a week, $48 for 15 days and $69 for 30 days. Nomad sells no unlimited plan for Israel, so there is nothing to set against those.
Ringo Light sells two trips for Israel: 2 weeks at $24.99 and 30 days at $35.99. The 2 weeks costs $23.01 less than Airalo's 15 days at $48. The 30 days costs $33.01 less than Airalo's $69, and $3.01 less than Nomad's 50 GB at $39, which is a fixed amount where ours is unlimited. Ringo Light sells no buckets and no 3-day plan: for a fixed 10 GB, Airalo at $11.50 is cheaper than our $24.99, and Airalo's 20 GB at $16.50 costs $19.49 less than our month. We would rather you read that here than at checkout.
What unlimited means at each
Airalo's unlimited for Israel, the Annatel plan, gives 3 GB a day at full speed, then slows to 1 Mbps for the rest of the day. That is enough for maps, messages and an hour or two of video; a long evening of streaming in HD will hit it. Nomad sells no unlimited plan for Israel, so with Nomad you choose a bucket and watch it. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 2 weeks or 30 days. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in Israel
Israel has several networks, the biggest being Partner, Cellcom, Pelephone and Hot Mobile. Nomad lists Cellcom, Partner and Pelephone. Airalo names Annatel on its plan. Ringo Light rides a local partner network. All of them cover Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa and the main roads well.
Coverage thins in the desert. Holafly itself warns that parts of the Negev, the Ramon crater, the Judaean Desert and some roads around the Dead Sea can be weak or patchy. If your trip goes south, download offline maps before you leave the city, whichever eSIM you buy.
Installation, app and support
Airalo needs its app: you buy, install and top up inside it, and that is also where its support chat lives. Nomad's app is optional, so you can install without it. Ringo Light needs no app; the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, and support is by email. Whichever you pick, install it at home before you fly and switch it on for data when you land at Ben Gurion.
The cheaper third option: Ringo Light
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM. For Israel it sells two trips, both unlimited data at full speed: 2 weeks at $24.99 and 30 days at $35.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.
What it does not do: no buckets, no 3-day or 7-day plan, no phone number, data only. Calls go over apps that use data. If you want 10 GB for a month, Airalo at $11.50 is the better buy. If you want 3 days, Airalo at $12.50 is cheaper than anything we sell. If you want an Israeli number, Airalo's Annatel+ plans are the only option of the three. For two weeks or a month of unlimited, Ringo Light is the cheapest of the three.

How we compared, and our sources
Airalo, Nomad, Ringo Light
We priced Airalo, Nomad and Ringo Light for Israel on 25 October 2026, all on the same day, in US dollars. Each rival's price comes from its own website where it showed dollars, otherwise from an esimdb.com listing, and every source and its date is listed below. Ringo Light's prices come from the catalogue our checkout charges.
We compare the trips people actually book: a week, two weeks and a month of unlimited data, and a 10 GB bucket. We read each brand's fair use and speed rules and quote them as the brands state them. We did not run speed tests, so this page makes no speed claims for any brand.
Ringo Light is our own product. We put it in the table on the same terms as everyone else, and where a rival is the better buy the page says so.
Left out: Holafly, Saily and Ubigi. They sell Israel too and are priced on the same day in the full comparison at /blog/best-esim-for-israel. This page answers one question, Airalo or Nomad, so it keeps to those two and the cheaper third option. Left out: Nomad 50 GB against Airalo. Nomad sells 50 GB for 30 days at $39, but the Israel comparison carries no Airalo 50 GB price, so that row is left out rather than guessed.
