Holafly vs Nomad in one paragraph
Holafly and Nomad are different products in Israel, so the choice is the kind of plan before it is the price. Holafly sells unlimited days only: $12.50 for 3 days, $27.50 for a week, $50.50 for 15 days and $73.90 for 30, with no stated daily cap for your own phone, hotspot sharing limited to 1 GB a day, and no app, installed from a QR code on Partner, Pelephone and Hot Mobile. Nomad sells buckets only: 10 GB at $19, 20 GB at $29 and 50 GB at $39 for 30 days, on Cellcom, Partner and Pelephone, with an optional app, and no unlimited plan for Israel. Pick Holafly if you want to stop counting data and the trip is short, or you stream. Pick Nomad if you want a fixed amount, up to 50 GB, or Cellcom among the networks. If the trip is two weeks or a month and you want unlimited, Ringo Light sells 2 weeks at $24.99 and 30 days at $35.99, unlimited data at full speed, for less than Holafly.
Price: the same trip at each
Priced on 25 October 2026, in US dollars. Holafly asks $12.50 for 3 days of unlimited, $27.50 for a week, $50.50 for 15 days and $73.90 for 30 days. Nomad sells no unlimited plan for Israel, and Holafly sells no buckets, so the two share no like-for-like price. Nomad's buckets are 10 GB at $19, 20 GB at $29 and 50 GB at $39, each for 30 days. We do not call either brand cheaper than the other here: a fixed 50 GB at $39 and an unlimited month at $73.90 are different things, and which is the better buy depends on how much data you use.
Ringo Light sells two trips for Israel: 2 weeks at $24.99 and 30 days at $35.99. The 2 weeks costs $25.51 less than Holafly's 15 days at $50.50, and less than Holafly's 7 days at $27.50, with a week of days left over. The 30 days costs $37.91 less than Holafly's $73.90, and $3.01 less than Nomad's 50 GB at $39, which is a fixed amount where ours is unlimited. Ringo Light sells no buckets and no 3-day plan: for 3 days, Holafly at $12.50 is cheaper than anything we sell, and for a fixed 10 GB, Nomad at $19 is cheaper than our $24.99. We would rather you read that here than at checkout.
What unlimited means at each
Holafly states no daily cap for your own phone in Israel and limits hotspot sharing to 1 GB a day. That makes it the plain choice if you never want to watch a counter. Nomad sells no unlimited plan for Israel, so with Nomad you choose a bucket, 10, 20 or 50 GB, and watch it. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 2 weeks or 30 days. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in Israel
Israel has several networks, the biggest being Partner, Cellcom, Pelephone and Hot Mobile. Holafly lists Partner, Pelephone and Hot Mobile. Nomad lists Cellcom, Partner and Pelephone. Ringo Light rides a local partner network. All of them cover Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa and the main roads well. Hot Mobile is on Holafly's list and not Nomad's; Cellcom is on Nomad's and not Holafly's.
Coverage thins in the desert. Holafly itself warns that parts of the Negev, the Ramon crater, the Judaean Desert and some roads around the Dead Sea can be weak or patchy. If your trip goes south, download offline maps before you leave the city, whichever eSIM you buy.
Installation, app and support
Holafly needs no app; it sends a QR code you scan in your phone's settings, and support is by chat on its site. Nomad's app is optional, so you can install without it. Ringo Light needs no app either; the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, and support is by email. Whichever you pick, install it at home before you fly and switch it on for data when you land at Ben Gurion.
The cheaper third option: Ringo Light
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM. For Israel it sells two trips, both unlimited data at full speed: 2 weeks at $24.99 and 30 days at $35.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.
What it does not do: no buckets, no 3-day or 7-day plan, no phone number, data only. Calls go over apps that use data. If you want 10 GB for a month, Nomad at $19 is the better buy. If you want 3 days, Holafly at $12.50 is cheaper than anything we sell. For two weeks or a month of unlimited, Ringo Light is the cheapest of the three, and our 2 weeks at $24.99 costs less than Holafly's 7 days.

How we compared, and our sources
Holafly, Nomad, Ringo Light
We priced Holafly, Nomad and Ringo Light for Israel on 25 October 2026, all on the same day, in US dollars. Each rival's price comes from its own website where it showed dollars, otherwise from an esimdb.com listing, and every source and its date is listed below. Ringo Light's prices come from the catalogue our checkout charges.
We compare the trips people actually book: a week, two weeks and a month of unlimited data, and a 10 GB bucket. We read each brand's fair use and speed rules and quote them as the brands state them. We did not run speed tests, so this page makes no speed claims for any brand.
Ringo Light is our own product. We put it in the table on the same terms as everyone else, and where a rival is the better buy the page says so.
Left out: Airalo, Saily and Ubigi. They sell Israel too and are priced on the same day in the full comparison at /blog/best-esim-for-israel. This page answers one question, Holafly or Nomad, so it keeps to those two and the cheaper third option. Left out: A price race between the two. Holafly sells no buckets and Nomad sells no unlimited plan, so no row of the Israel comparison carries a like-for-like price for both. We show each brand's own plans side by side and do not call either cheaper.
