Airalo vs Ringo Light in one paragraph

For two weeks or a month of unlimited data in Israel, Ringo Light is cheaper than Airalo, and not by a little. Two weeks is $24.99 against $48 for 15 days, $23.01 less, and it even costs $1.51 less than Airalo's 7 days at $26.50. A month is $35.99 against $69, $33.01 less. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed; Airalo gives 3 GB a day at full speed, then 1 Mbps. Pick Airalo if you want 3 days, a bucket, a number, or the comfort of the app.

Price: the same trip at each

Priced on 25 October 2026, in US dollars. For 3 days of unlimited, Airalo asks $12.50; Ringo Light sells no 3-day plan. For a week, Airalo asks $26.50; Ringo Light sells no 7-day plan, and its 2 weeks at $24.99 costs $1.51 less than Airalo's week, with a week of days left over. For 15 days, Airalo asks $48 against our 2 weeks at $24.99. For a month, Airalo asks $69 and Ringo Light $35.99. Ringo Light is cheaper at every length it sells, and for a week too, but for 3 days Airalo is the cheaper buy.

For a fixed amount of data, Airalo is the only one of the two that sells it: 10 GB for 30 days at $11.50, 20 GB at $16.50. Ringo Light sells no buckets. Its 2 weeks of unlimited at $24.99 costs $13.49 more than Airalo's 10 GB, and it lasts 2 weeks, not 30 days. Airalo's 20 GB at $16.50 costs $19.49 less than our month. If you need a little data to last a whole month, Airalo is the better buy, and we would rather you read that here than at checkout. The 10 GB chart above shows the two side by side for that reason.

The two-week chart carries Ringo Light's 2 weeks against Airalo's 15 days, as the full comparison does. The month chart is like for like, 30 days at each.

What unlimited means at each

Airalo's unlimited for Israel, the Annatel plan, gives 3 GB a day at full speed, then slows to 1 Mbps for the rest of the day. That is enough for maps, messages, photos and an hour or two of video; a long evening of streaming in HD will hit it, and a laptop on the hotspot will hit it sooner. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 2 weeks or 30 days, with no daily figure. Fair use policy, see Terms.

Networks and coverage in Israel

Israel has several networks, the biggest being Partner, Cellcom, Pelephone and Hot Mobile. Airalo's own plan names Annatel, and that is a point for Airalo: you know what is on the plan before you buy. Ringo Light rides a local partner network, and does not name it. For Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa and the main roads, both cover well.

Coverage thins in the desert. Holafly itself warns that parts of the Negev, the Ramon crater, the Judaean Desert and some roads around the Dead Sea can be weak or patchy. If your trip goes south, download offline maps before you leave the city, whichever eSIM you buy.

Installation, app and support

Airalo needs its app: you buy, install and top up inside it, and that is also where its support chat lives. Ringo Light needs no app; the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan from the QR code, and support is by email. There is no balance to watch because there is no bucket. Whichever you pick, install it at home before you fly and switch it on for data when you land at Ben Gurion.

What Ringo Light is, and what it is not

Ringo Light is our own data eSIM. For Israel it sells two trips, both unlimited data at full speed: 2 weeks at $24.99 and 30 days at $35.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.

What it is not: it is data only, with no phone number, so calls go over apps that use data. It sells no buckets, no 3-day plan and no 7-day plan. It names no network. There is no app and no balance screen, because there is nothing to count. If you want 10 GB to last a month, 3 days, or an Israeli +972 number, Airalo is the better buy. For two weeks or a month of unlimited, Ringo Light is the cheaper of the two by a wide margin.

The comparison of all the brands for Israel, with Holafly, Saily, Nomad and Ubigi priced the same day, is at /blog/best-esim-for-israel. The card to buy Ringo Light is further up this page, just after the side-by-side table.
