Holafly vs Saily in one paragraph
Saily is cheaper than Holafly for Saudi Arabia at every length both sell: $3.91 less for 15 days and $9.91 less for 30 days. Holafly gives you the simpler product: unlimited days with no stated daily cap, installed from a QR code, on Mobily, with a 3-day plan at $13.50 and a week at $28.50 that Saily does not sell. Saily gives more choice, buckets as well as unlimited, but its unlimited slows to 1 Mbps after 3 GB a day and you need its app. Pick Saily for the lower price or a bucket. Pick Holafly if you stream all evening, want a short plan, or never want to think about a daily cap. If the trip is two weeks or a month and you want unlimited, neither is the cheapest: Ringo Light sells 2 weeks at $22.99 and 30 days at $50.99, unlimited data at full speed.
Price: the same trip at each
Priced on 25 October 2026, in US dollars, from each brand's own site. For 15 days of unlimited, Holafly asks $58.90 and Saily $54.99. For 30 days, $108.90 at Holafly and $98.99 at Saily. Saily wins every row both sell.
For the short plans the two do not line up. Holafly sells 3 days at $13.50 and a week at $28.50. Saily sells no 3-day or 7-day plan: its shortest unlimited is 5 days at $18.99, then 10 days at $34.99. We have no Holafly price at those lengths, so we do not say which is cheaper there.
Ringo Light sells two trips for Saudi Arabia: 2 weeks at $22.99 and 30 days at $50.99. The 2 weeks costs less than half of Holafly's 15 days at $58.90 or Saily's at $54.99, and less than Holafly's week at $28.50. The 30 days costs about half of Holafly's $108.90 and Saily's $98.99. Ringo Light sells no 3-day plan: for a long weekend, Holafly at $13.50 is the only one of the three that sells one.
For a fixed amount of data, Saily is the only one of the three that sells it: 10 GB for 30 days at $26.99, 20 GB at $42.99. Holafly sells no buckets. Ringo Light sells no buckets either. If you want 20 GB over a month and no more, Saily at $42.99 is cheaper than our 30 days at $50.99, and we would rather you read that here than at checkout.
What unlimited means at each
Saily's unlimited for Saudi Arabia gives 3 GB a day at full speed, then slows to 1 Mbps for the rest of the day. That is enough for maps, messages, Nusuk and a video call home; a long evening of streaming in HD will hit it. Holafly states no daily cap for your own phone and limits hotspot sharing to 1 GB a day, so Holafly is the one to pick between the two if you stream a lot, but only up to that 1 GB for sharing. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 2 weeks or 30 days. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Umrah and Hajj: Makkah and Madinah
Umrah and Hajj run on your phone now. The Nusuk app, from the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, is where you get the Umrah permit and book a slot to pray in the Rawdah at the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah. Install it and sign in before you fly, while you still have your home connection for the verification codes, and keep your permits on the phone, not only in an email.
The strain in Makkah and Madinah comes from crowds, not coverage: in Ramadan and during the Hajj days in Mina, Arafat and Muzdalifah, millions of phones share the same masts and data slows for everyone, whatever eSIM you carry, Holafly or Saily. Download your maps, prayer times and group chat photos when the crowds are thin, and carry a power bank.
For an Umrah of up to two weeks, Ringo Light's 2 weeks at $22.99 is the cheapest unlimited in the full comparison. For Hajj, most packages run three to five weeks; our 30 days at $50.99 covers most of them. If your group stays longer than 30 days, buy the 30 days and a 2 weeks when it ends.
Networks and coverage in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia has three networks: stc, the largest, Mobily and Zain. All three have 5G in Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah, Madinah and Dammam. stc reaches furthest along the desert highways and into small towns; out on the road to AlUla, the Edge of the World or the Asir villages, signal thins out on every network. Holafly names Mobily. Saily does not name its network, so we cannot tell you which it uses. Ringo Light rides a local partner network. For the cities and the holy sites, any of the three works.
Installation, app and support
Saily needs its app: you buy, install and top up inside it. Holafly sends a QR code you scan in your phone's settings; its app is optional, and support is by chat on its site. Ringo Light needs no app; the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, and support is by email. Whichever you pick, install it at home before you fly and switch it on for data when you land. A travel eSIM bought online needs no passport or fingerprint check at an airport counter, unlike a local SIM.
The cheaper third option: Ringo Light
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM, sold to fund the full Ringo, one plan that works everywhere with your own number ported onto it. For Saudi Arabia it sells two trips, both unlimited data at full speed: 2 weeks at $22.99 and 30 days at $50.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.
What it does not do: no buckets, no 3-day plan, no 7-day plan, no phone number, data only. Calls go over apps that use data. If you want 3 days, Holafly at $13.50 is the only one of the three that sells it. If you want 20 GB for a month, Saily at $42.99 is cheaper than our 30 days. For two weeks or a month of unlimited, Ringo Light is the cheapest of the three, and our 2 weeks at $22.99 costs less than Holafly's 7 days at $28.50.

Frequently asked questions
How we compared, and our sources
Holafly, Saily, Ringo Light
We priced Holafly, Saily and Ringo Light for Saudi Arabia on 25 October 2026, all on the same day, in US dollars. Each rival's price comes from its own website where it showed dollars, otherwise from an esimdb.com listing, and every source and its date is listed below. Ringo Light's prices come from the catalogue our checkout charges.
We compare the trips people actually book: a week, two weeks and a month of unlimited data, and a 10 GB bucket. We read each brand's fair use and speed rules and quote them as the brands state them. We did not run speed tests, so this page makes no speed claims for any brand.
Ringo Light is our own product. We put it in the table on the same terms as everyone else, and where a rival is the better buy the page says so.
Left out: Airalo, Nomad and Ubigi. They sell Saudi Arabia too and are priced on the same day in the full comparison at /blog/best-esim-for-saudi-arabia. This page answers one question, Holafly or Saily, so it keeps to those two and the cheaper third option. Left out: Saily at 3 and 7 days. Saily sells no 3-day or 7-day plan, only 5 days at $18.99 and 10 days at $34.99. We have no Holafly 5-day or 10-day price, so the two are not compared at those lengths. Left out: Maya Mobile. We could not read its own prices for this country on the day, so it stays out rather than being guessed.
