1 · The short answer

The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix runs from 19 to 21 March 2027 on the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, a fast street track along the Red Sea waterfront north of the city centre. It is a night race, a week after the Bahrain season opener.

The 2026 race, planned for April, was called off by Formula 1 and not replaced. Ringo Light's Saudi Arabia plan covers Jeddah and the rest of the kingdom with unlimited data, nothing to renew.

2 · Before you go: the eVisa

Visitors from many countries can get a tourist eVisa online before they travel, through Saudi Arabia's official visa platform. Apply ahead and keep the approval on your phone and on paper.

King Abdulaziz International Airport is north of Jeddah, closer to the Corniche circuit than the old city.

3 · Getting to the Corniche circuit

Jeddah has no metro to the circuit, so fans arrive by taxi, ride-hailing or the shuttle services the organisers run on race weekend. Roads along the Corniche close around the track, so check where your gate is and where pickups are allowed.

Book your ride back early or use the official shuttle, because the end of the night brings long queues.

4 · Signal at a night race

Saudi Arabia's networks are fast in Jeddah and cover the waterfront. Packed grandstands and the fan zone still slow uploads at the start and the finish.

Save your e-ticket, the eVisa and the circuit map offline, and agree a meeting point with your group.

5 · Apps, tickets and paying

  • ✓Official F1 app. Session times in your time zone, results and news. Live timing needs an F1 TV subscription and data.
  • ✓Tickets. Sold through the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix's official site. Keep the ticket offline.
  • ✓Getting around. Uber and Careem both operate in Jeddah.
  • ✓Paying. Cards and phone wallets are accepted almost everywhere.

6 · What to do around the race

Al Balad, the old city of coral stone houses, is a World Heritage site and comes alive in the evening. The Corniche waterfront, the floating mosque and the Red Sea reefs north of the city fill the days before the night sessions.
