The short answer
Airalo is cheaper than Saily for Indonesia wherever we read both prices: $0.99 at 15 days, $2.99 at 30 days and $0.99 on 10 GB. We did not read Saily's 3-day, 7-day or 20 GB prices, so we make no comparison there. Airalo sells 3 days at $11, 7 days at $27 and 20 GB at $35. Ringo Light, the third option, is unlimited data at full speed at $23.99 for 2 weeks or $35.99 for 30 days.

The prices, charted
US dollars, 25 October 2026. Ringo Light sells 2 weeks, Airalo and Saily 15 days. Saily's 15 days at $48.99 was read on saily.com but is not in the parent's charts, so it has no bar. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed.
The 30-day plan at each brand. Saily's 30 days at $71.99 was read on saily.com but is not in the parent's charts, so it has no bar. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed.
Saily's 10 GB at $21.99 was read on saily.com but is not in the parent's charts, so it has no bar. Ringo Light sells no bucket either: its 2 weeks is unlimited, and lasts 2 weeks, not 30 days.

Airalo vs Saily in one paragraph
Airalo is cheaper than Saily for Indonesia wherever we read both prices, by $0.99 to $2.99, and it is the only one of the two whose 3-day, 7-day and 20 GB prices we have. Saily's daily cap is 5 GB at full speed against Airalo's 3 GB. For two weeks or a month of unlimited, neither is the cheapest: Ringo Light is $23.99 for 2 weeks and $35.99 for 30 days, unlimited data at full speed.
Price: the same trip at each
Prices are in US dollars from 25 October 2026. Airalo asks $11 for 3 days and $27 for 7 days, and we did not read Saily's price for either, so we make no comparison. At 15 days it is $48 against $48.99, and at 30 days $69 against $71.99.
Ringo Light sells two trips for Indonesia, 2 weeks at $23.99 and 30 days at $35.99. Two weeks costs $24.01 less than Airalo's 15 days and $25 less than Saily's, and it is under Airalo's 7 days at $27 too, with a week to spare. A month is $33.01 less than Airalo and $36 less than Saily. Ringo Light has no 3-day or 7-day plan, so for a short trip use the rival rows.
Buckets: 10 GB for 30 days is $21 at Airalo and $21.99 at Saily, both under Ringo Light's $23.99 for 2 weeks. Airalo's 20 GB is $35, which is $0.99 under Ringo Light's $35.99 for 30 days, and we did not read Saily's 20 GB price. If a bucket is all you need, buy the bucket. We would rather you read that here than at checkout.
What unlimited means at each
Airalo gives 3 GB a day at full speed and then 1 Mbps. Saily gives 5 GB a day at full speed. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 2 weeks or 30 days. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in Indonesia
Three operators matter for visitors: Telkomsel, XL Axiata and Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, which carries the Indosat and 3 brands. Telkomsel is the biggest and has the widest reach beyond the main towns. XL and Indosat are fast in Jakarta, the south of Bali and the other big cities, and thinner outside them. Even on Telkomsel, the sea is not covered: ferries, the Komodo boats and the fast boats to the Gilis and Nusa Penida lose signal between the harbours, so download maps and tickets before you board. Mountain trails, crater rims and national park trails have gaps too.
Airalo rides Indosat Ooredoo and one other network. We did not read which network Saily uses in Indonesia, so we do not name one. Ringo Light rides a local partner network.
Installation and app
Airalo has an optional app, and we did not read Saily's app requirement for Indonesia. Ringo Light needs none: the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan. Whichever you pick, install it at home before you fly and switch it on for data when you land.
The cheaper third option: Ringo Light
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM for travellers. For Indonesia it sells two trips, both unlimited data at full speed: 2 weeks at $23.99 and 30 days at $35.99. You pay once, nothing renews, and there is no app.
It has no buckets and no 3-day or 7-day plan, and it is data only, so calls go over apps that use data.

Frequently asked questions
How we compared, and our sources
Airalo, Saily, Ringo Light
We priced Airalo, Saily and Ringo Light for Indonesia on 25 October 2026, all on the same day, in US dollars. Each rival's price comes from its own website where it showed dollars, otherwise from an esimdb.com listing, and every source and its date is listed below. Ringo Light's prices come from the catalogue our checkout charges.
We compare the trips people actually book: a week, two weeks and a month of unlimited data, and a 10 GB bucket. We read each brand's fair use and speed rules and quote them as the brands state them. We did not run speed tests, so this page makes no speed claims for any brand.
Ringo Light is our own product. We put it in the table on the same terms as everyone else, and where a rival is the better buy the page says so.
Left out: Holafly, Nomad and Ubigi. They sell Indonesia too and are priced on the same day in the full comparison at /blog/best-esim-for-indonesia. This page answers one question, Airalo or Saily, so it keeps to those two and the cheaper third option. Left out: Revolut. It sells Indonesia data plans inside its banking app for account holders only, with no price per plan in dollars and no unlimited plan, so it stays out. Left out: Maya Mobile. We could not read its own prices for this country on the day, so it stays out rather than being guessed. Left out: Saily, where not read. Only its 15 days, 30 days and 10 GB prices were read for Indonesia on 25 October 2026, so this page makes no claim about its 3-day, 7-day or 20 GB plans, its network or its app.
- Airalo: www.airalo.com/indonesia-esim?currency=USD, unlimited plans and network read on the site in dollars, 25 October 2026; the 10 GB and 20 GB buckets from the esimdb listing dated 4 October 2026
- Saily: saily.com/esim-indonesia/, prices in dollars on saily.com, read 25 October 2026: unlimited 15 days, 30 days and 10 GB only
- Ringo Light: our own catalogue, the prices the checkout charges on 25 October 2026.
