For 20 GB, Airalo at $20 is $6.99 under our 30 days at $26.99 and Saily at $22.99 is $4.00 under. We would rather you read that here than at checkout.
What unlimited means at each
Airalo's and Saily's unlimited plans for Spain work the same way: 5 GB a day at full speed, then slowed to 1 Mbps until the next day. That is enough for maps, messages, music and a couple of hours of video; a long evening of HD streaming or a big photo backup will hit it, and a laptop on the hotspot will hit it sooner. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 3 days, 2 weeks or 30 days, with no daily figure. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in Spain
Spain has four networks: Movistar, Orange, Vodafone and Yoigo. All four cover the cities, the coast and the high-speed rail lines well. Airalo rides Yoigo, Vodafone and Orange. Saily rides Movistar, Orange and Vodafone. Ringo Light rides a local partner network. For Barcelona, Madrid, Seville, Valencia and the islands, any of the three works. Saily is the one of the two to pick if you want Movistar; Airalo is the one with Yoigo.
Installation, app and support
Saily needs its app: you buy, install and top up inside it, and that is also where its support lives. Airalo for Spain can be bought on the web or in its app; its support chat lives in the app and on its site. Ringo Light needs no app; the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan, and support is by email. Whichever you pick, install it at home before you fly and switch it on for data when you land at Barajas, El Prat or Palma.
The cheaper third option: Ringo Light
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM, sold to fund the full Ringo, one plan that works everywhere with your own number ported onto it. For Spain it sells three trips, all unlimited data at full speed: 3 days at $8.99, 2 weeks at $16.99 and 30 days at $26.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.
What it does not do: no buckets, no 7-day plan, no phone number, data only. Calls go over apps that use data. If you want 10 GB to last a whole month, Airalo at $14 is the better buy, with Saily at $15.99 next, and 20 GB at $20 or $22.99 still costs less than our 30 days. For 3 days, two weeks or a month of unlimited, Ringo Light is the cheapest of the three.

We compare the trips people actually book: a week, two weeks and a month of unlimited data, and a 10 GB bucket. We read each brand's fair use and speed rules and quote them as the brands state them. We did not run speed tests, so this page makes no speed claims for any brand.
Ringo Light is our own product. We put it in the table on the same terms as everyone else, and where a rival is the better buy the page says so.
Left out: Holafly, Nomad and Ubigi. They sell Spain too and are priced on the same day in the full comparison at /blog/best-esim-for-spain. This page answers one question, Airalo or Saily, so it keeps to those two and the cheaper third option. Left out: Maya Mobile. It lists only a Global plan for Spain and its own site refused the fetch on the day, so it stays out rather than being guessed.
