1 · The short answer

Primavera Sound Barcelona 2027 runs from 2 to 6 June at the Parc del Fòrum, on the seafront at the north east end of the city. It is a city festival: no camping, music until dawn and a long walk between stages on a concrete esplanade by the sea. Signal is good on the way in and around the edges, and slows when a headliner fills the main stages.

Visitors from outside the EU, and anyone whose home plan roams expensively in Spain, can install a Spain data eSIM before they fly. Ringo Light covers Spain with unlimited data at full speed; it arrives by email, installs in one scan and needs no app.

2 · The crowd and the signal at the Fòrum

The festival brings a very large international crowd each night, and the two big stages face each other at one end of the site, so a headline set concentrates most of it in one place. That is when maps and messages keep working and uploads stall. The smaller stages along the seafront are easier.

Build your timetable in the official app at home, save your ticket in the wallet and keep the site map offline. Post the night's videos the next afternoon from the beach or your hotel.

3 · Tickets, the official app and paying

  • ✓Tickets. Full festival and day tickets are sold through the organiser's official ticketing partner. Keep the ticket email or wallet pass saved on the phone itself.
  • ✓The official app. Primavera Sound publishes stage times, maps and changes in its app. Mark the acts you want to see before you arrive.
  • ✓Paying. Bars at Spanish festivals are largely card and phone based; check the organiser's current policy on cash before you go, and carry a card that works abroad.
  • ✓Battery. Nights end around sunrise. A small power bank in a pocket gets you home with a working phone.

4 · Getting there and home at dawn

Barcelona El Prat airport has the Aerobús and the L9 Metro line into the city. For the festival, Metro line L4 stops at El Maresme | Fòrum, right by the entrance, and trams run along the Diagonal. Barcelona's Metro runs through the night on Saturdays, and extra services are usually announced around the festival.

TMB, Barcelona's transport operator, has an app with live times. At dawn, the taxi rank queues are long; a ten minute walk away from the gates usually finds a free cab faster.

5 · Meeting points and safety

  • ✓Pick a fixed meeting point. Choose a landmark such as the large solar panel canopy or a named bar, and agree a time. Calls are unreliable in the headliner crowd.
  • ✓Phones and pickpockets. Barcelona has a reputation for phone theft in crowds and on the Metro. Keep the phone in a zipped front pocket, never in a back pocket.
  • ✓Share location early. Turn on location sharing with your group before you go in.
  • ✓Emergency number. 112 works across Spain and the EU.

6 · Which plan covers Primavera Sound

Ringo Light's Spain plan covers the whole country, from Barcelona to Madrid, Valencia and the islands. If your trip continues to France or Portugal, a Europe plan covers the borders on one eSIM. Your own SIM stays on for calls and codes.

7 · Barcelona around the festival

The days in Barcelona are free: the music starts in the late afternoon.
