1 · The short answer
The Spanish Grand Prix runs from 10 to 12 September 2027 at Madring, the circuit built around the IFEMA exhibition grounds in the northeast of Madrid. It follows Monza by a week, so many fans combine the two.

Dates: Friday 10 to Sunday 12 September 2027, round 15 of the 2027 Formula 1 season. The first race at Madring ran on 11 to 13 September 2026. Organiser's page

2 · Getting to Madring
The circuit is close to Madrid Barajas airport. Metro Line 8 links the airport, the Feria de Madrid stop at IFEMA and Nuevos Ministerios in the city, so most fans can reach the gates by metro from wherever they stay.
Expect the metro to be packed before and after the sessions, and check the circuit's site for the gate that matches your grandstand and any race weekend changes to stations.
3 · Signal in the crowd
Spain's networks are strong in the city, but a full circuit puts tens of thousands of phones in a small area at the same time. Messages usually get through while uploads slow at the start and the finish.
Save your e-ticket and the circuit map offline, carry a power bank in the September heat, and agree a meeting point with your group.
4 · Apps, tickets and paying
- ✓Official F1 app. Session times in your time zone, results and news. Live timing needs an F1 TV subscription and data.
- ✓Tickets. Sold through the circuit's official channels as mobile tickets. Keep yours offline.
- ✓Metro. Contactless cards and phone wallets work at Madrid metro gates; the airport adds a supplement.
- ✓Paying. Cards and phone wallets are accepted almost everywhere in Madrid.
5 · What to do around the race
Madrid runs late, which suits a race weekend. The Royal Palace, Puerta del Sol, the Prado and Retiro Park are all in the centre, and dinner rarely starts before nine.
