1 · The short answer

2 · Getting to Miami Gardens

Miami International and Fort Lauderdale airports both work. Hard Rock Stadium is inland, well north of downtown and the beaches. The promoter runs or lists shuttle options and sells parking passes for the weekend; ride-hailing has dedicated drop off and pick up zones. Check the 2027 transport guide before you arrive.

After the race, everyone leaves at once. Save your shuttle details and pick up zone offline, and expect a wait.

3 · Signal in the heat and the crowd

The stadium complex is built for big crowds, but on race day the grandstands, marina area and fan zones are full, and uploads slow around the start and finish. Florida heat in late spring also drains batteries quickly.

Keep your e-ticket offline and bring a power bank. Afternoon thunderstorms are common; a weather app helps.

4 · Apps, tickets and paying

  • ✓Official F1 app. Times, results and news; live timing needs an F1 TV subscription and data.
  • ✓Tickets. Sold through the Miami Grand Prix's official site as mobile tickets.
  • ✓Paying. Hard Rock Stadium events are cashless; cards and phone wallets are the way to pay.
  • ✓Getting around. Ride-hailing apps, with set zones on race weekend.

5 · What to do around the race

South Beach and its Art Deco district, the murals of Wynwood, Cuban coffee in Little Havana, and an airboat or boardwalk day in the Everglades are all within reach.
