The 2027 Ryder Cup between Europe and the United States is at Adare Manor in County Limerick, Ireland, from 13 to 19 September. The first days are practice and the Opening Ceremony; the matches run from Friday 17 to Sunday 19 September. It is the second Ryder Cup in Ireland, after The K Club in 2006, and the organisers plan a daily site capacity of 55,000.

2 · Getting to Adare

Shannon Airport is the nearest, under an hour's drive from Adare. Dublin Airport has far more flights and is roughly a two to two and a half hour drive across the country, or a train to Limerick Colbert station. Adare itself is a few kilometres off the main road from Limerick, and organisers plan park and ride and shuttle services for the week.

3 · Tickets and the official app

  • ✓Sold out general admission. The Ryder Cup has said that general admission tickets for 2027 are sold out. Hospitality packages and any official resale are the remaining official routes.

4 · Signal on a crowded course

Golf crowds move. Tens of thousands of fans follow the same matches around the course, then gather around the first tee and the closing holes. Mobile cells in rural Limerick were not built for that many phones at once, so expect uploads and live streams to slow sharply near the busiest holes.

Check the official spectator rules on phone use before you go: at golf, phones stay on silent and nobody films during a swing. Download the course map, agree a meeting point such as a grandstand or the merchandise tent, and keep a power bank: a long day on the course drains a phone fast.

5 · Ireland around the Ryder Cup

Adare is one of Ireland's prettiest villages, with thatched cottages and a medieval friary. Limerick city has King John's Castle on the River Shannon. The Cliffs of Moher are about an hour and a half away, and the Ring of Kerry and Killarney make a natural extension of the trip. Dublin is a good final stop before you fly home.
