1 · The short answer
Frieze London and Frieze Masters run side by side from 14 to 18 October 2026 in The Regent's Park. Frieze London shows contemporary galleries; Frieze Masters covers art from antiquity to the late twentieth century. The two fairs sit in large temporary structures at opposite corners of the park, and the week around them, Frieze week, fills London with gallery openings, auctions and a second wave of fairs.

2 · Where the two fairs are in the park
Frieze London is in the south of The Regent's Park, with its entrance off Park Square West, less than five minutes' walk from Regent's Park Tube station. Frieze Masters is on Gloucester Green in the north east corner of the park, near London Zoo, about ten minutes' walk from Camden Town and Mornington Crescent stations. Walking between the two across the park takes a while, so plan your day as two halves rather than going back and forth.
Frieze Sculpture, the free outdoor show, runs through the English Gardens near the south end of the park. Keep your tickets in your phone wallet and save the floor plans from the Frieze site before you arrive: each fair is one long structure with numbered booths and sections.
3 · Signal under canvas
The fairs are held in temporary structures in the middle of a park, not in a building designed for crowds and mobile coverage. On the preview days thousands of people are inside the same tent, sending images of works, and uploads slow down noticeably at the busiest times. Messages and calls generally go through.
Step outside between appointments to send files, set your messaging app to queue large images, and arrange where to meet before you go in rather than relying on live location. London's Tube now has mobile coverage on many lines, which helps when you are moving between the park and Mayfair.
4 · Frieze week across London
- ✓Mayfair and St James's. Galleries on Cork Street, Savile Row and around open major shows, and the auction houses hold their October sales.
- ✓1-54. The contemporary African art fair returns to Somerset House in October; check its own site for dates.
- ✓Tate Modern. The former power station on Bankside, with new exhibitions and the Turbine Hall commission.
- ✓Serpentine. Two galleries in Kensington Gardens, a walk across Hyde Park from Mayfair.
5 · Getting there and getting around
From Heathrow, the Elizabeth line and the Piccadilly line run into central London, and the Heathrow Express reaches Paddington. Eurostar trains from Paris and Brussels arrive at St Pancras, a short Tube or taxi ride from the park.
Contactless bank cards and phone wallets pay for the Tube, buses and trains across London, with daily caps, so there is no need to buy a ticket. Citymapper or the TfL Go app help with routes; black cabs and ride-hail cars are in heavy demand around the park at closing time.
6 · Around Frieze London
Frieze week stretches from the park to Bankside. These are the places most visitors fit in.
