1 · The short answer

The Qatar Grand Prix runs from 27 to 29 November 2026 at the Lusail International Circuit, north of Doha. It is a night race under floodlights and the second to last round of the season, a week after Las Vegas and a week before Abu Dhabi.

2 · Getting to Lusail

Hamad International Airport is on the Red Line of the Doha Metro, and the same line runs north through the city towards Lusail. On race weekends the organisers have run shuttle buses from the metro to the circuit gates; check this year's arrangements on the circuit's site before you travel.

Taxis and ride-hailing apps work across Doha, but roads near the circuit slow down after the race. The metro plus shuttle is usually quicker back into the city.

3 · Signal at a night race

Qatar's mobile networks are modern and dense. The pressure point is the same as anywhere: a full grandstand trying to film the start and post the finish at the same moment, when uploads slow down.

Save your e-ticket and the gate map offline, and keep the metro route on your phone for the late ride back.

4 · Apps, tickets and paying

5 · What to do around the race

The race runs at night, so the days are free and the late November weather is pleasant. Souq Waqif, the Museum of Islamic Art and the Corniche are in central Doha, Katara Cultural Village is on the way north, and The Pearl is close to Lusail.
