1 · The short answer
The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix closes the 2027 season on 10 to 12 December at Yas Marina Circuit, on Yas Island. The race starts in the late afternoon and finishes under floodlights, and the weekend comes with concerts after the track action. Formula 1's calendar is the place to recheck nearer the time, since Gulf race dates have moved before.

2 · Getting to Yas Island
Zayed International Airport is close to Yas Island, a short taxi ride away. Many fans stay on Yas itself, in central Abu Dhabi or in Dubai, which is roughly an hour by road. On race weekend the circuit has organised shuttle buses from the city and from Dubai; check its site for the 2027 routes.
Taxis and ride-hailing work well in the UAE, but the roads around the circuit are busy after the race. Save your pick up point and shuttle details offline.
3 · Signal at the finale
UAE networks are fast, but the finale draws a full house and an after-race concert crowd in the same place. Expect slow uploads around the start, the chequered flag and the concert.
One local detail: some voice and video calling features of messaging apps are restricted in the UAE. Messages and data work normally; plan calls home accordingly.
4 · Apps, tickets and paying

5 · What to do around the race
Yas Island has theme parks and a waterpark next to the circuit. In Abu Dhabi, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and the Louvre Abu Dhabi are the two big visits, and the Liwa desert is a long but memorable drive south.
