The short answer
Airalo is the travel eSIM most people already know for Turkey. Ringo Light is cheaper for unlimited at every length it sells: $8.99 against $11.50 for 3 days, $12.99 for 2 weeks against $24.50 for one week at Airalo, $26.99 against $69 for a month. Airalo wins where Ringo Light sells nothing: data buckets from $4 for 1 GB, a named network with 5G, and an app that shows your balance and tops you up.
Unlimited data at full speed for 3 days at $8.99, 2 weeks at $12.99 or 30 days at $26.99, nothing renews, no app. Airalo asks $11.50 for 3 days, $24.50 for one week and $69 for the month.
1 GB from $4, 10 GB for 30 days at $15.50, 20 GB at $22.50. Its Merhaba plan rides Türk Telekom with 5G. You buy, install, top up and see what is left inside its app. Ringo Light sells none of that.

The 30-day unlimited plan at each brand. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed. Airalo slows to 1 Mbps after 3 GB a day.
The bucket most people buy for a two-week holiday. Ringo Light sells no bucket: its 2 weeks is unlimited and lasts 2 weeks, not 30 days. If the 10 GB must last a whole month, Airalo is the one of the two that sells it.

Airalo vs Ringo Light in one paragraph
For unlimited data in Turkey, Ringo Light is cheaper than Airalo at every length it sells, and not by a little. Three days is $8.99 against $11.50. Two weeks is $12.99, less than Airalo asks for one week at $24.50. A month is $26.99 against $69. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed; Airalo gives 3 GB a day at full speed, then 1 Mbps. Airalo wins everything Ringo Light does not sell: a 7-day plan, data buckets from $4 for 1 GB up to 20 GB at $22.50, a named network, Türk Telekom with 5G, and an app that shows your balance and tops you up. Pick Ringo Light if you want unlimited for 3 days, two weeks or a month. Pick Airalo if you want a bucket that lasts 30 days, a named network, or the comfort of the app.
Price: the same trip at each
Priced on 25 October 2026, in US dollars. For 3 days of unlimited, Airalo asks $11.50 and Ringo Light $8.99. For a week, Airalo asks $24.50; Ringo Light sells no 7-day plan, and its 2 weeks at $12.99 costs less than Airalo's week, with a week of days left over. For a month, Airalo asks $69 and Ringo Light $26.99. That is the whole unlimited story: Ringo Light is cheaper at every length, including the one it does not sell.
For a fixed amount of data, Airalo is the only one of the two that sells it: 1 GB from $4, 10 GB for 30 days at $15.50, 20 GB for 30 days at $22.50. Ringo Light sells no buckets. Its 2 weeks of unlimited at $12.99 costs less than Airalo's 10 GB, but it lasts 2 weeks, not 30 days. If you need a little data to last a whole month, Airalo's 10 GB is the better buy, and we would rather you read that here than at checkout. The 10 GB chart above shows the two side by side for that reason.
The week chart carries Ringo Light's 2 weeks against Airalo's 7 days, as the full comparison does, because Ringo Light sells no 7-day plan for Turkey. The month chart is like for like, 30 days at each.
What unlimited means at each
Airalo's unlimited for Turkey, the Merhaba plan, gives 3 GB a day at full speed, then slows to 1 Mbps until the next day. That is enough for maps, messages, photos and an hour or two of video; a long evening of streaming in HD will hit it, and a laptop on the hotspot will hit it sooner. Ringo Light is unlimited data at full speed for the whole 3 days, 2 weeks or 30 days, with no daily figure. Fair use policy, see Terms.
Networks and coverage in Turkey
Turkey has three networks: Turkcell, Vodafone TR and Türk Telekom. All three cover Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Antalya and the coast well; the gaps are in the mountains of the east and on some ferry crossings. Airalo's own page names Türk Telekom, with 5G, and that is a point for Airalo: you know which network you will be on before you buy. Ringo Light rides a local partner network, as the full comparison says. For Istanbul, Cappadocia, Pamukkale, Ephesus and the Turquoise coast, both work. If you must have Turkcell by name, neither is the brand; Holafly and Ubigi name it in the full comparison.
Installation, app and support
Airalo recommends its app: you buy, install and top up inside it, see how much data is left, and reach its support chat there. Refunds for a wrong purchase come back as Airmoney credit, not cash. Ringo Light needs no app; the eSIM arrives by email in seconds and installs in one scan from the QR code, and support is by email. There is no balance to watch because there is no bucket. Whichever you pick, install it at home on Wi-Fi and switch it on for data when you land in Istanbul or Antalya. Both deliver within minutes if you buy after landing on hotel Wi-Fi.
What Ringo Light is, and what it is not
Ringo Light is our own data eSIM, sold to fund the full Ringo, one plan that works everywhere with your own number ported onto it. For Turkey it sells three trips, all unlimited data at full speed: 3 days at $8.99, 2 weeks at $12.99 and 30 days at $26.99. One payment, nothing renews, no app.
What it is not: it is data only, with no phone number, so calls go over apps that use data. It sells no buckets and no 7-day plan. It names no network. There is no app and no balance screen, because there is nothing to count. If you want 10 GB to last a month, or a Türk Telekom plan by name, Airalo is the better buy. For unlimited at 3 days, two weeks or a month, Ringo Light is the cheaper of the two by a wide margin.

How we compared, and our sources
Airalo, Ringo Light, Ringo Light
We priced Airalo and Ringo Light for Turkey on 25 October 2026, all on the same day, in US dollars. Each rival's price comes from its own website where it showed dollars, otherwise from an esimdb.com listing, and every source and its date is listed below. Ringo Light's prices come from the catalogue our checkout charges.
We compare the trips people actually book: a week, two weeks and a month of unlimited data, and a 10 GB bucket. We read each brand's fair use and speed rules and quote them as the brands state them. We did not run speed tests, so this page makes no speed claims for any brand.
Ringo Light is our own product. We put it in the table on the same terms as everyone else, and where a rival is the better buy the page says so.
Left out: Holafly, Saily, Nomad and Ubigi. They sell Turkey too and are priced on the same day in the full comparison at /blog/best-esim-for-turkey. This page answers one question, Airalo or Ringo Light, so it keeps to those two. Left out: Maya Mobile. Its own site refused the fetch on the day and the two listings that carry it disagree on the 30-day price, so it stays out rather than being guessed.
